Innokin Coolfire Ultra TC150 Design, Feel, and Fist-Impression

While Coolfire Ultra TC150 isn’t what one would call a stealth mod, it’s not what one would call a big, cumbersome mod either. The device is just the right size to slip in your bag or front pocket of your jeans. The mod also feels super great in your hands while vaping,, and feels even better with sleeves on, it looks better with it off. Coolfire Ultra TC150 is smooth on texture that goes along with its classy sleekness.

The OLED display is excellently clear and bright showing all the typical information, you’d expect such as temperature, wattage, resistance, etc. And just like many vaping devices, Innokin Coolfire Ultra TC150’s main fire button has an LED behind it which notifies you to the current charge of the battery. All the buttons in this device are highly responsive, well fitted, and rattle-free.

How is Innokin Coolfire Ultra TC150 Performance?

Innokin Coolfire Ultra TC150 Performance Review

You’d be in a familiar territory with this device if you’ve used any of the Coolfire mods or kits before—everything is pretty much the same, except you’ve got an extra 50 watts here. The Innokin Coolfire Ultra TC150 fire time is indeed pretty much instantaneous which complements its remarkable flavor and clouds. The display is extremely intuitive and responds well and super-fast during scrolling.

Innokin Coolfire Ultra TC150 has a plethora of safety features inbuilt including overheat protection, over discharge protection, as well as short circuit protection. The temperature is controlled by coil materials including, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Nickel. Experienced users claim that 130-watts hit is the sweetest—on a higher wattage coil, things can get a little warm. It is also recommended to use 6 mg e-Liquid or less with the atomizer. Sub-ohm atomizers produce higher throat hit compared to lower resistance atomizers and standard neck.

Using the Device For the First Time

If you are a new user, use the X3 clicks to turn the device on and off. Increase or decrease wattage/power mode using + & – buttons—each increase or decrease is in 0.5 watts. Enter coil mode selection via fire and + button and choose same or scroll through options Ni – Ti – SS – Wattage. Hold + & – for 3 seconds to flip the screen. Based on one can conclude that the Aethon chip is doing its job well and operating the device won’t be a hard ask. The battery is charged via Micro USB 5V/2A.

How Do You Refill the Scion Tank?

Filling and refilling the Scion tank is quite easy. First, twist the tap cap off, then carefully add e-liquid into the filling hole ensuring that you don’t get e-liquid into the central air hole. Don’t overfilling the tank to avoid any leakage. Lastly, twist the top cap on securely. Wait about two minutes before vaping.

Our Final Verdict

Not much more to say about Innokin Coolfire Ultra TC150 other than in both temperature and wattage control mode this vape is extremely outstanding. It’s light, ergonomic, and thin, and looks very good especially with the Scion tank. Its superb vape production and taste also set it apart from other vaporizers within its price range. However, its main con lies in the fact that it has super sensitive inbuilt batteries. Besides that, Innokin Coolfire Ultra TC150 performs like a dream.

Thanks for your concise review of the Innokin Coolfire Ultra TC150. Can you please advise as to whether it is possible to use it with a dry herb tank. If so, which tank would you advise?
