Finding quality weed oil carts can be troublesome because there are so many fakes out there. Buying fake cart not only harms the company making real carts, but buying them can also be harmful to the user’s health, as evidenced by recent illnesses brought on by vaping fake carts.

However, careful searching can land vapers legit vape carts full of safe liquid. Cookies sells an excellent pen battery and more than 50 cartridges containing CBD, THC, and live resin.

Have a look at this review to determine whether these batteries and carts are worth it.

What Is a Cookies Pen?

Cookies Disposable Vape Pen Review

A Cookies vape pen is a small battery-powered device that uses prefilled THC oil cartridges. People use it for recreation and for treating various ailments. It is an excellent vape for people who want to get high or medicate on the go.

Vapor Production

It does not produce a lot of vapor. After all, it is not a box mod or RDTA. It is simply for getting high and medicating.

However, low vapor production is not a bad thing. Something that blows huge clouds can draw unwanted attention. That is a bad thing for people vaping weed oil carts.

Internal Build Quality and Design

The build quality is pretty solid. It has a sturdy feel to it, and nothing inside or out rattles. The 510 connection between the cart and battery is secure, and its threads are butter smooth. No issues with cross-threading whatsoever.

There are no issues with the outer design, save for the excessive branding on the side. The designers wrote “Cookies” on the side in loud cursive letters, telling everyone that the user has a weed oil pen.

Of course, when vaping weed, it is best to go with something more discreet. But that is just a personal preference.

The outer design of the whole caboodle is fine – besides the overbranding. It is small, portable, and ergonomic.

Cookies Battery

The 350 mah battery side is pretty decent, except that it does not have draw activation. That would have been a nice feature to add. Instead, it has a five clicks on/off firing button. It costs $20 on the Cookies website.

Another cool feature is that the user can adjust the temperature. The bottom of the battery has a dial that allows the voltage to be changed from low to high.

As for which of these settings is better, that is up to the user to decide. But the writer’s personal preference is a medium voltage setting. Not too hot but not too cool with enough voltage to really activate those cannabinoids.

Twenty dollars is not a lot to pay for a battery, and it provides steady output for as long as it is charged.

What Cartridges Work with the Cookies Pen?

Cookies Disposable Vape Pen Open

Cookies has prefilled 510 carts compatible with their batteries, but they run at $30 per cart. That is a lot to pay, especially considering the high price of the battery. However, it can be used with other vape cartridges since it has a 510 connection.

But with Cookies, buyers get what they pay for when it comes to carts. They have several excellent lines: CBD, High Flyers, and Premium Sauce.

The CBD carts contain CBD oil (obviously), High Flyers THC, and Premium Sauce high terpene resin.

How to Use a Cookies Pen

Using pens and prefilled cartridges is easy. Just follow these steps to get started:

  1. Screw the 510 cart onto the battery while making sure the threads do not get cross-threaded.
  2. Click the firing button five times to turn it on or off
  3. Take a short puff on the mouthpiece
  4. To charge, connect the Cookies pen charger and plug the charger into a USB port

That is it. The only thing to remember is that first-time vapers should wait ten minutes after their first puff before taking the second. Use that time to gauge how you feel because one drag might be enough for novice users. Taking a second or third puff when unready can cause unpleasant effects.

However, if the effects are not intense ten minutes after the first puff, try a second puff and wait a little while until the third.

Cookies Pen vs Ooze Slim Twist

Ooze Twist Slim Pen Review

These pens have the same features: adjustable voltage, USB-C charging, and a really nice form factor that makes for comfortable vaping. Also, the pricing is the same.

The nice thing about the Cookies vape pen is that the voltage can be adjusted lower than the Ooze Slim Twist. However, the Ooze pen only adjusts to 3.3 volts.

But the Ooze pen’s branding is not as “in your face” as the Cookies’, making it a little more inconspicuous.

Cookies Pen vs KandyPens Slim Pen

KandyPens Slim Review

The Slim Pen is a pretty good device, but it is not as good as the Cookies vape pen. It has a smaller battery and does not have adjustable voltage. Instead, it puts out a solid and consistent 3.5 volts of output.

The Negatives

Final Thoughts About the Cookies Pen

Cookies THC pens are good devices, and there are a lot of compatible carts available on the company’s website. The only thing that might discourage buyers is that their cartridges are expensive. But that money is worth it because those carts are filled with premium THC, CBD, and resin oil.

The only thing that would make Cookies better is they sold a draw-activated battery and came down a tad bit on their prices. But, other than that, these are some fine products they have.

I love the written word, and in my career as a journalist, I strive to provide the facts about everything I write about. There are too many false and alarmist stories out there about life and vaping mainly. My mission is to make e-cigarettes less scary to people with informative articles and extensive research on not only the possible evils of cigarettes and Big Tobacco, but the objective side of e-cigs.

I’m charging my Cookies cap pen. The light on the charger is green but there is no light on the pen itself.
On the pen I get a solid red but as soon as I screw the cartridge on the pen starts blinking kind of an iridescent color.
    I can’t get a hit at all!
