The Hyde disposable vape pen is a new device made by Hyde Vapes, a company based out of the United Kingdom. The disposable Hyde vape pen, coming out only a few months ago, is easy to use, flavorful, and affordable.

Each pen carries a high concentration of salt nicotine, plenty of liquid, and a battery powerful enough to ensure its user gets through the day. The Hyde vape pen also comes in a lot of different and exciting flavors.

Hyde Vape Review: What do You Need to Know?

The disposable Hyde vape pen has several design features that make it worth considering as a new device. Firstly, it carries 1.6 ml of nic salt e-juice, and the juices are available in several flavors. There are such flavors as straw melon apple, cherry lemonade, etc. In addition, they carry 50 mg of salt nicotine, which is more than enough to satisfy any craving. Finally, a 380 mah battery gives this vape more than enough power.

Appearance-wise, this little disposable vape pen resembles a USB thumb drive. It is slightly smaller than the extended palm, making it ultra-portable. The pen can fit comfortably in a shirt or jeans pocket or ride in a purse or handbag. Each device has a sticker design on it that has the name of the company written across it in a script.

VD Vape Hype

As for the price, this is one of the more affordable disposable vapes on the market. It is currently selling for $7.00, which is much less expensive than the Juul. People who are looking for a cost-effective way to vape will appreciate this tiny device.

What Comes in the Hyde Vape Pen Box?

Since vaping products are disposable, there is not a lot of stuff in the box. It does not need to be recharged, nor can it be refilled. When the box is opened, the only thing the customer will find is Hyde vape.

Build Quality and Design of the Hyde Vape Pen

The building quality of Hyde vape pen is superb. It has a solid body, and it does not feel flimsy. All of the components of the disposable vape work together to deliver a solid vaping experience.

As for exterior design, it is nice that it is small, but it would be better if the edges were more rounded. Another design improvement would be a more rounded mouthpiece. But, again, it is the edges.

How to Use the Hyde Vape Pen

Using a Hyde vape is easy. There are no firing buttons or pods to refill or re-wick. The user has to pick up the vape, put its end in the mouth, and take a drag. Then, it will fire automatically and deliver a stream of satisfying vapor that is to die for.

Once the product is depleted, throw it away in the garbage and not worry about it. Just pick up a new one and repeat the process.

Vaping Experience

The vapor from the vape is miraculously superb. There are no unnatural burnt or plastic flavors coming out of this device. The vapor tastes just like the descriptions on the box, and there are a lot of flavor selections – much more than similar devices.

Hyde Vape Pen Salt Nicotine Flavors

VD Hyde Disposable Vape Pen

  1. Pink Lemonade: A sweet and tart flavor, this nic salt liquid is perfect for hot summer days where there is nothing to do but lounge around.
  2. Blue Razz Ice: Very sweet and refreshing taste. Goes good with dessert.
  3. Cherry Lemonade: Another tart and sweet flavor that is highly satisfying. The cherry gives it an added sweetness that pink lemonade does not have.
  4. StrawMelon Apple: An extremely creative combination of strawberry, melon, and apple. Tastes like a juice cocktail.
  5. Honeydew Punch: Tastes like a fruit punch with a hint of mild honeydew on the inhale and exhale.
  6. Peach Mango: Another fruit cocktail concoction. Very sweet, cool, and tasty.
  7. Strawberries and Cream: This flavor is by far their best — delicious strawberry and cream flavor that tastes like a milkshake.
  8. Mango: Nothing complicated about this taste. Just pure mango.
  9. Spearmint: This is a potent juice that will deliver a powerful and icy hot hit, almost like smoking a menthol cigarette.
  10. Lush Ice: Menthol flavored salt nicotine liquid, but it is not as intense as its other flavors. Much milder.
  11. Fire & Ice: Probably their most intense flavor and not for the faint of heart. Hot and satisfying taste.
  12. Mango Ice: Menthol flavored salt nicotine liquid with a touch of mango.
  13. Pineapple Ice: Menthol flavored with a hint of pineapple. Interesting combination.

Competing Products

Hyde Disposable Vape vs. Puff Bar

The Puff Bar is a disposable device very similar to the Hyde. It has an internal battery, the same salt nicotine concentration, tasty juice and vapor, a vast flavor selection. Yet, there are some equally significant differences.

VD PuffBar Disposable Vaporizers

Firstly, the Puff Bar only holds 1.3 ml of nic salts liquid, so one can get a few more puffs of vapor out of the Hyde. And, while the Puff Bar is not that expensive, Hyde vape is a dollar or two cheaper depending on the vendor from which it is bought.

Hyde Disposable Vape vs. Juul

The Juul was a pioneer in the vaping industry, but other devices are starting to overtake it, and Hyde vape is one such device. The Hyde holds much more salt nicotine liquid than the Juul’s 0.7 ml. There are more puffs of vapor to be had from the disposable Hyde.

VD Juul Vape Pen

But, the most significant difference between the two is the flavor selection. Hyde offers more than a dozen flavors, while Juul only has four flavors at the time of writing.

Pros & Cons

The Positives

  • Several juice products available
  • Holds a lot of salt nicotine liquid
  • Easy to use
  • Ergonomic
  • Discrete

The Negatives

  • The edges need to be more rounded

Last Words on the Hyde Disposable Vape

The Hyde disposable pen was one of the more pleasant surprises of the new year for our writing team. The Hyde salt nicotine juice flavors are excellent, and those that are not are more or less acceptable. In addition, it is discreet and easy to use, so it will not draw a lot of attention when it is being used.

The only downsides are the sharp edges on the body and mouthpiece. Yes, it is common for disposable vape products to have sharp edges like the Juul, but can the manufacturers be a little more imaginative?

I love the written word, and in my career as a journalist, I strive to provide the facts about everything I write about. There are too many false and alarmist stories out there about life and vaping mainly. My mission is to make e-cigarettes less scary to people with informative articles and extensive research on not only the possible evils of cigarettes and Big Tobacco, but the objective side of e-cigs.

I purchased a Hype one (peach mango watermelon, about a week ago from a local tobacco store, half of the juice is still in the vape but it will not draw. After paying 17.00 for a half vape I am very disappointed. Is this typical of your vapes?

    Hyde bars need some work.
The flavors they offer are nice. However, this is the 4th one that I’ve tried that gives me the same exact issues I’ve had in all of them.
First, they spit the juice into your mouth.
Second, some hits taste of burnt plastic and will choke you out.
Third, you cannot use it for its full puff expectancy without it dying.
Fourth, lots of the fluid shoots out of the mouth piece, requiring you to qtip it out, and it isn’t easy to store. I’ve found storing it upright has given me most of these issues. It pops. You know, that popping noise you get out of cheap vapes. I guess it has something to do with the heat.
I got the 1,500 hitter, plus adjustable airflow and if the airflow is too open, it will burn it up.
It is NOT worth the $25 that I spent for it. I will stick with . Better quality for the price.

I’ve tried to call and email HYDE. We bought 3 vapes for $91.32. This is alot of money to try to quit smoking cigarettes for them not to work or to come home and it be burnt tasting in less than 30 minutes. Took it back to the store to replace it. They refused and said to contact HYDE itself. I’ve tried to call and email. So far I’ve been hung up on, told I have the wrong number and then told I was sent to rewards department because the number I called is having difficulties. Wow, Right! Well here I am, writing a comment, in hopes to actually reach someone. Anyone have any advice or a number/email to reach them? I love the Strawberries and Cream and Aloe Grape if they would work.

Hyde is one of my favorite disposables. I haven’t had a flavor I hated, but I stick with berry n melon flavors. Neon rain is my favorite, followed by strawberries n cream… Sberry-banana being my least favorite. The issue with left over juice is definitely present in every one I’ve tried from the small 350 puff ones to the large limited ed color ones.. I solved it (for me at least) by buying a small pod vape, and i just refill my vape pods with the leftover juice. I still get to keep my favorite flavors (usually cheaper than juice seperately as well). There is usually at least 1 full pod of juice, plus about a quarter of one .. I use the Vaporesso Podstick for reference. The little refill bottle that comes with it is perfect for getting all of the leftover out of the Hyde

PLEASE discontinue Lemon Crumble!!!! I have never thrown a vape out the window- it tastes like complete cat piss! I take that back- I’d prefer the taste of cat piss in my mouth. Never had a problem with any other flavors…love them. But avoid Lemon Crumble like someone coughing with Covid

I’ve bought 6 different hyde bars
4 of them worked, and one of the four tastes burnt after only a couple puffs, then another one of the four I had to inhale the hardest I could to even get anything out. Anyway every time I use them I end with a sore throat anywhere, I will not be purchasing anymore Hyde and stick with PUFF bars from now on, they don’t give me a sore throat and every single one I’ve bought has worked.

I have purchased several of the hyde vape pods and have overall been satisfied with the design, flavors, and over all function. My one and only complaint is that every pod that i purchased the battery has not outlasted the juice. So even though the hyde holds more juice….. It doesn’t matter because the battery has died before all the juice has been used. You can clearly see through the black mouth piece exactly how much juice is left in the pod. Either increase the battery strength or decrease the tank size to actually hold the amount of juice that can be vaped. The lower price doesn’t matter much if your not able to use all of the juice the pod holds when the battery dies.
