The Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50w TC is a very simple vape mod, which is perfect as a backup device or a primary vape mod for someone who has just started to vape. Its simplicity is a key feature and vapers looking for a no-nonsense mod can find much resonance with this product. With mini mods making an epic comeback into the vaping scene, Innokin has designed the Pebble as a stealthy and portable device.

With a dimension of 34 x 22 x 55mm, its size surprises many new users and is smaller than most of its competitors in this range, like the Nugget mod by Artery Vapor or the Eleaf iStick Pico or the SMOK AL85 mod. However, the small size of the Pebble does restrict some features. Firstly, due to its non-standardized size, this Innokin mod comes with a non-replaceable battery, which makes it unviable for vapers used to using multiple batteries on their mods. The second irritant is the lack of sub-ohm vaping as you won’t be able to fit in the 0.15 Ohm wiring into this set-up.
The third drawback is the lack of temperature control, which can result in drier hits towards the end of your vaping session. The design is pretty straightforward, and the mod comes with a nice big LED screen. Overall, the Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50w is a neat and clean little device. Let’s check out the pros and cons before the detailed review.
The ideal vaper for the Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50w
The Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50w is a niche product. It is designed to work within a specific range of operations and delivers exceptionally well in its domain. Innokin is well known for its astute product design and the Coolfire Pebble is the textbook example of a simple vaping mod. It is pocket-friendly, uncomplicated and durable. The symbiosis of these three qualities makes it a good choice for people new to vaping, who can test out the vaping experience before investing in something of the higher order. Innokin also provides a very detailed instruction booklet, in English, which is why we again recommend this to beginners. The Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50w can also be an affordable backup device for your vaping needs.
However, you can’t expect it to perform like double-battery, high wattage, sub-ohm, vaping mods. It performs very well in its domain and is able to extract flavorful vapors out of your regular vaping juice. The battery will be a concern if you are used to vaping in high power units. We don’t recommend it for travelers as you will have in at least two of these to last a day. We recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cheap mod which is just enough to make your vaping ends meet.
What about the battery of the Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50W?
The Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50w is powered by a 1300 mAh Lithium Polymer battery, which can power up 150+ puffs, at 30w, on a full battery cycle. For every 10w increase in vaping, there will be a decrease of 20 puffs in usage. The battery is non-replaceable and comes with a warranty of 3 months from the date of purchase.
The vaping experience from the Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50W
The vapor quality of the Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50w is a sweet surprise. We were not quite expecting such powerful clouds from such a tiny device, and it will surely surprise many of the first-time users. The device runs on the usual wattage settings, with a range of 6-50w. We recommend vaping at 30w, with 0.5ohm stainless steel or 0.8ohm Kanthal wiring, for the best optimization of vapor density and flavor. The vapor quality is good, and you can experience average quality flavor but very dense and cloudy.
Towards the higher end of the wattage, you will get a richer dose of flavor, but the vapor will become a bit drier. The consistency of vapor is an issue, as the mod produces good vapor in the beginning and begins to die out with use. We also noticed that the Coolfire Pebble uses up more vaping juice compared to other mods.
Which tank is best suited for the Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50W
The Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50w comes with the Innokin Slipstream tank in the Full kit version. However, the Express kit contains just the mod and you have to buy the tank separately. You can safely use any 22mm tank without any overhanging issues. We recommend the SMOK Helmet Mini, the Innokin Apex Mini, or the Vaporesso Guardian.

The final verdict on the Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50W
The Innokin Coolfire Pebble 50w is a good entry-level mod if you want to keep your vaping experience limited to 50w. The build quality and trust of the Innokin brand is a big plus if you are looking for a long-lasting product. However, it is a middle-of-the-road product and you won’t be getting the high-end vaping features like temperature control, sub-ohm vaping or even high wattage vaping. For a price tag of nearly $30, this can be a valuable addition to your vaping kit but not the sole member. This product has to be complemented with a higher-end model as you progress your way into vaping.
