There are more disposable vapes out there than anyone can count. If the disposable vape is going to be popular, it needs to stand out.
Do these Steam Engine vapes stand out? Unfortunately, it is hard to tell just by looking at them. The only way to know for sure is by trying them.
How did this vape perform when our testers tried it?

Steam Engine Disposable Vape Flavors Review
Upon first glance, nothing about these vapes stands out.
But that is until they are vaped.
The best thing these vapes have going for them is the flavor. All of their flavors are on point all the time, especially their cola and lychee flavors. Of all their vapes, those are the best.
But they have several others, including banana, cool mint, lush, mango freeze, peach freeze, and tangerine freeze.
This selection is very limited, and it would have been better if they could have included a coffee and tobacco flavored vape at the very least. Some dessert flavors would have been nice, too.
Not having dessert flavors can be forgiven, but not the absence of tobacco and coffee vapes. Every line should have those because coffee is popular, and many vapers use disposables to quit smoking cigarettes.
Build Quality and Design
The build and design quality is fine for a disposable device. The body is rectangular with rounded corners, making it comfortable to hold and transport.
Another good feature is the mouthpiece. It fits the lips comfortably, and it provides a tight cig-a-like draw.
Also, it holds up very well while traveling around, and it works without any hang-ups. No whistles, burn hits, or spit-back.
Vapor Production
Despite the name, Steam Engines are not designed to produce huge amounts of clouds, so do not expect to fill a room with one.
Disposables do not usually produce high amounts of vapor, and this device is no exception. It is purely designed to sate nicotine cravings.
People who want a vape that can produce high amounts of vapor should buy a box or pod mod that uses interchangeable sub-ohm coils and high vegetable-glycerin liquids. These coils and liquids combine to create high amounts of clouds.
Battery
Steam Engines come with 280 mah integrated batteries that last for 300 puffs, and the internal pod holds 1.3 ml of 50 mg salt nicotine liquid. That is 100 more than what Juul offers.
That is not a bad puff count, even though there are disposables out there suitable for hundreds or even thousands of puffs. The advantage of having a device good for only a few hundred puffs is that you will not get tired of it and throw it out before it empties.
How to Use the Steam Engine Vape
Disposable vapes are easy to use. The user has to open the package, take the vape out, and draw on the mouthpiece. When this is done, vapor comes out. Keep vaping until the device stops giving off vapor. When that happens, throw it away and get a new one.
The fact that these devices are draw-activated and thrown away when they are depleted makes them perfect for people who want something more straightforward to use than a box or pod mod.

Steam Engine Vape vs Fruity Puff Disposable
Fruity Puff vapes are very similar, having the same battery and puff count. The difference is that they have more variation in the flavors, including some dessert-flavored liquid. But, they do not have tobacco or coffee-flavored vapes. Also, they have 20 mg of salt nicotine instead of 50 mg.
Steam Engine Vape vs Puff Bar Disposable
Puff Bars also have the same puff count and battery, but like Fruity Puff, they also have more flavors. But unlike Fruity Puff and Steam Engine, they have coffee and tobacco flavored vapes. The fact Puff Bar has a tobacco and coffee-flavored vape puts them far ahead of other brands.
Pros&Cons
The Positives
- Great flavor
- Nice mouthpiece
- Good price
The Negatives
- No coffee or tobacco flavored vapes

Final Thoughts About This Review
Steam Engines are not bad disposable vapes, but even though the flavor is outstanding, nothing about them stands out from similar brands. In dozens of other disposables, one can look at these vapes and point to the same features and flavors.
Putting some coffee, tobacco, and dessert-flavored liquids in the lineup could have made them stand out. This was low-hanging fruit. Why did they not grasp it?
Besides that, it is a good vape for someone new to e-cigs. They work, they have some good and accurate flavors, decent liquid capacity, and they last longer than Juuls.
