Vaporesso Swag PX80 Review
This vape is one of the best vape mods Vaporesso has made. Since its release date, it has gotten many great reviews on places like Reddit and elsewhere.
It has some great features, and it produces incredible levels of flavor and vapor. The kit comes with 0.2 and 0.3 ohm GTX mesh coils.
- The 0.2 ohm coil is rated for 45 to 60 watts,
- while the 0.3 ohm coil is rated for 32 to 45 watts.
They both do an excellent job producing vapor and getting the flavor out of the liquids.
Another benefit to using this pod mod kit is that it is leak-resistant. Any leaks or condensation accumulate around the base in a special compartment.
Liquids will not get between the coil and the connection. When a drag is taken, the liquid and condensation are sucked back into the tank.
Vapor Production
These two mesh GTX coils have very low resistances so that they can produce high levels of vapor. It is difficult to tell which makes more because they both produce so much. But the 0.2 ohm coil produces slightly more vapor than the higher resistance coil. Also, this coil is better for direct-to-lung vaping.
Fast-Firing 80 Watt AXON Chipset
Another advantage to using this vape is that the box is ultra-responsive, thanks to the Axon chipset. There are no delays when pressing the firing button or adjusting the settings.
Unboxing the Vaporesso Swag PX80 Kit
The kit comes with many accessories. First, it comes with a user manual, warranty card, and a reminder card with basic operating instructions. In addition to the pod mod kit, it has a single pod, two GTX mesh coils, and a type-c USB cable.
Sculptured, Portable Design and Embedded IML Screen
Vaporesso did an excellent job crafting this vape. The build quality is outstanding, as is the outer design. There are no faults in the construction, save for the adjustment buttons being too close together. However, after a few days of vaping, one gets used to that small flaw.
As for the outer design, it looks like a cross between a vape and a Samsung. It has a smooth body and rounded edges that make it comfortable to hold and transport.
The best feature of all is the screen. At first appearance, the vape looks like it is screenless, but the screen lights up when a battery is put inside.
The screen is located on the side and has no frame or any indication it is there until turned on. In the light, the screen can be difficult to discern. But when out of the light, it is easy to read.
Battery Performance
The vape uses a single 18650 battery. It works well enough to last much of the day, depending on the settings. The vape uses a USB-C cable so that charging can be completed in a short period of time.
The vape has a very well designed battery compartment adjacent to the tank connection. The battery cap screws off easily, and the battery slides in.
The Menu
In addition to a vivid screen, the menu is comprehensive and contains all the information the user needs. The wattage is displayed in the center, and the battery life is in the upper left corner.
4 ml Refillable Pods and Mesh Coils
The pods have 4 ml capacity and use a bottom fill system. However, there is no leaking, thanks to the protections earlier mentioned. The pod has a self-circulating system and adjustable rotating airflow. It is easy to switch between restricted and direct-to-lung hits.
The bottom fill port is the only drawback to buying the vape. It would have been much better had they put the refilling port on the top. It does not leak, but it is more convenient to refill a pod without taking it off the pod mod.
How to Use the Vaporesso Swag PX80
This Vaporesso pod mod kit is surprisingly easy to use. Coil installation is different than in most mods, but it is effortless and straightforward.
The coil is pushed inside the tank from the bottom, causing the drip tip to move up. Do not think there is something wrong, as this is normal. After the drip tip protrudes, twist to lock it and prevent the coil from being pushed out.
When the coil needs to be replaced, turn the drip tip and push it down. Doing this pushes the coil out of the pod. This method of replacing the coil is quite clever and a lot better than digging it out with fingernails.
The tank is refilled from the bottom by pulling open a tab at the base.
Step-by-Step Operating Guide
- Five clicks turns it on/off
- Three clicks locks/unlocks it
- Use the up/down arrows to scroll through the wattage
- Press the up/down arrows to enter the menu system
