The Swag 2 is a new box mod kit from Vaporesso, a company that has one of the best reputations in the vaping industry.
This product is an improvement over the original Swag mod. A 18650 battery powers it, and the juice comes from an NRG tank. The vape operates on an AXON chip for maximum efficiency and responsiveness. The design and build quality are outstanding, resulting in an easy to handle and highly ergonomic box mod.

Review of the Vaporesso Swag 2: Key Features and Components
The Vaporesso Swag 2 kit has GT4 coils that run on several settings that make this box mod kit worth looking at.
- One of the most popular settings is “power mode,” which allows vapers to customize preheating.
- Other modes include temperature control, watt curve, variable voltage, and Super Player mode.
- Super Player mode is for vaping on low resistance.
Other vaping modes include battery saver, pulse mode, and smart temperature control. Battery saver mode is for extending the battery life while the pulse mode results in higher wattage during the puff. This vape has almost every mode a person could desire.
The e-juice is held in an NRG PE tank that allows the user to replace the coils at will. It contains a respectable amount of e-juice. The GT4 coils inside the tank can handle up to 80 watts.
This box mod kit is a perfect size, measuring 125 mm X 50 mm X 25 mm. It fits the hand well, and it is easy to back into a bag, purse, or put in a jeans pocket for later use. It was designed and built well, being constructed from zinc-alloy and given a rubberized coating.
The Vaporesso Swag 2 vape kit is not an eye-catcher.
Customers will not find marble panels or fancy colors; instead, they will find simple colors like silver, black, blue, and red. Some people might not like these plain colors, but the advantage is that this vape will not attract a lot of unwanted attention. For this reason, the Swag 2 kit is excellent for those who want to vape unnoticed and without bothering others.
Even though the colors are not flashy and the choice is limited, the paint job is superb, and there have been no issues with paint or coating chipping off or getting scraped.
Summary of the Functions and Specs
This device has a lot of different vaping modes, and it has a 3.5 ml juice capacity tank that can handle up to 80 watts. It has a 0.91 inch OLED screen, and it is portable and easy to travel with. Customers can choose four colors for their mod.
What Comes with the Vaporesso Swag 2 Kit?
The vape kit comes with everything needed to get started.
- In addition to the mod, the kit has
- the tank, which comes with two GT4 coils (one of which is pre-installed),
- as well as spare o-rings,
- a USB cable,
- and a user manual and warranty card.
Internal Build Quality and Design
The design and build quality of this product are exceptional. It is light, and it does not feel like it will fall apart at any moment.
All of the parts fit together nicely, and there are no rattling sounds. Size-wise, it is slightly larger than the Pico. As for appearance, it is not that remarkable, but that is not a bad thing. It is inconspicuous, not flashy. The paint job is solid, and so far, none of the paint has scraped off.
Vaporesso Swag 2 Battery
The Vaporesso Swag 2 is powered by a single 18650 battery that is held in place by a cap at the top. Unscrew that, and the battery slides right in. Once the battery is inside the vape, it is held securely inside. It does not shake or move once inside the vape. Sony VTC5A (2,600 mah) and LG HG2 (3,000 mah) batteries are what we recommend for this vape.
Does the Vaporesso Swag 2 Kit Come with Batteries?
Unfortunately, the Swag 2 does not come with a set of batteries. They are sold separately.
Vaporesso Swag 2 NRG PE Tank
The NRG PE is a new vape tank. It runs on GT coils and baby beast coils, and the box comes with a pre-installed 0.15 ohm GT4 double mesh coil (60 to 70 watts), and the second coil is a 0.6-ohm ceramic (25 to 35 watts). The tank holds up to 3.5 ml of e-liquid, and it uses a standard wide 510 o-ring Delrin drip tip.
There are a few things to like and dislike about this tank. First off, it holds a decent amount of e-juice – 3.5 ml.
Another thing to like about the tank is that thethreading is smooth, and the airflow control ring is easy to adjust. What probably irks a lot of users is that they do not have a bubble tank that can hold an extra milliliter of e-liquid. Vaporesso should consider making one for this tank – if they have not done so already.
How to Clean the Coil
- Take the coil out of the tank and soak it in alcohol, vinegar, or ethanol for four hours.
- Once four hours have elapsed, rinse the coil thoroughly in running tap water or distilled water.
- After cleaning, blow air through it so that the water is forced out of the wicking slots.
- Then, pat it with a dry towel or cotton, and set it aside until it is dry.
How Long do the Coils Last?
The coils can last one to four weeks, depending on how often they are used. Cleaning the coils on a regular basis will extend the life of the coils substantially.
How to Use the Vaporesso Swag 2 Kit
- To fill the tank, push the top cover to the right, and it will expose the fill port. Use a syringe or bottle to refill it. Allow five to ten minutes for the coils to get fully saturated.
- Screw the tank into the mod and click the firing button five times to turn the device on and off.
- Click the menu button or press it down to enter the menu.
- The up and down buttons are used to scroll through the menu options.
- Click the fire button to return to the home screen and hold it down to see the version of the chip.
To remove the coils, take the tank off and unscrew the bottom. A wrench or pliers can be used if the base of the tank is stuck.
Once the coil is exposed, screw it off and replace it with a new coil. A wrench, pliers, or towel can be used to take the coil off if it is necessary.
To vape the device, put in the tank filled with e-liquid, and turn on the mod.
Once this is done, hold down the firing button and exhale. Gradually adjust the wattage until a comfortable setting is found.
*It best to start on the lowest possible wattage no matter which coil is in the tank.
Power Mode Performance
The device is rated for 80 watts, but our testers managed to get 83 watts out of it, so this vape can do a little bit more than what is written in the manual. But, do not push the vape beyond what the manufacturer recommends. They listed 80 watts as the limit so that the user does not burn out his or her device.
The amp limit is around 28, and the voltage limit with the 0.6-ohm coil was about seven volts. On its own, the vape’s wattage increases by 0.1, but the adjustment buttons can be used to make it rise faster.
Temperature Control Performance
The Vaporesso Drag 2 was tested in TCR mod at 90 to 120 and in SS316 mode. It did not perform the way we thought it would. All-in-all, the vape was not very satisfying. It was not very strong, no matter the setting on which it was vaped.
Using the Vaporesso Swag 2 Kit
The flavor is decent for mid-wattage coil when using the 0.15-ohm coil between 60 and 65 watts. The c-cell coil works best at around 30 watts.
Overall the flavor is not bad. All of the flavors were pretty good. It also produces a respectable amount of vapor. Using the mesh coil will drain the battery, but the c-cell will make it last longer.
Vaporesso Swag 2 Competitors
Vaporesso Swag 2 vs. Vaporesso Swag Kit
These vapes are very similar since the same company makes both products. They both run on a single 18650, they have same-sized screens, and they have many different modes. There are some minor differences, though.
The tank for the Vaporesso Swag 2 is larger, and it holds 1.5 ml more than the original. It also uses the Axon chip as opposed to the Omni Board 2.0 chipset.
Vaporesso Swag 2 vs. GeekVape Aegis Legend
The Legend is a very powerful box mod kit. It can fire up to 200 watts, and it uses a 4 ml Aero mesh tank.
With the pre-installed bubble glass, the Legend can hold an additional milliliter of e-juice. The Vaporesso Swag 2 does not hold as much e-juice as the Legend, and it is not nearly as powerful, firing up to 80 watts. Both are good products, but the Legend is more powerful.

Final Word on the Vaporesso Swag 2 Kit
The Vaporesso Swag 2 is a solid medium wattage range mod. It has a solid construction, and the paint job makes it not stand out too much, unlike other mods that are too flashy and showy. It holds a good amount of juice, it works well in power mode, and the tank produces excellent flavor and vapor. There is not much to complain about, but it would be nice if they would include a bubble tank and optimize the temperature control performance. Other than that, this is a great product.

Hi Fran, thanks for writing, the NRG PE tank (I assume you are writing about that tank) has a slide-back top cap and it is reverse-threaded so if it has come off try screwing it the opposite way that you would a regular screw (left = tighten, right = loosen). The threads should click back into place. If that doesn’t work you can also try replace the white grommet that covers the fill port (there is a spare in the kit, if I’m not mistaken). Hope that helps. Let us know how it goes ; )
