The fantastic Cloud Pen 3.0 Vaporizer is great overall. This high-performance vaping device gave us one of the tastiest and most powerful draws in such a simple device. The experience was one of the best we had with dry herbs, wax and essential oils within the same device.

First Impressions on Cloud Pen 3.0

The Cloud Pen 3.0 is a 6.5 inches tall portable device (2.25 x 5 x 6.5 inches to be precise), light, easy to carry and relatively compact. We think it is the right size!

It looks really pretty and has a simple but attractive design. We liked the smooth feeling and the fact it grips perfectly in the palm.

The Pen 3.0 comes in many different colors from black to lime green or diamond blue, freedom to choose from discreet to the boldest color.

Each atomizer can be attached with a quick start click in the atomizer system that will prevent drawn-out coil mounting. After selecting your atomizer, fill in the dry herb, wax or oil you feel like vaping. Then attach the related atomizer.

The only button to worry about is the power switch at the very top of the battery. After we pressed it to start heating, it produced vapor within a few seconds. Impressive speed.

The light behind the button tells when the device is ready to use and also the battery level.

The Battery, a key element

The 650mAh battery has a great capacity to fire each coil for 25 seconds. It provides power for about half a day of vaping.

It features a low battery indicator with a light turning red when there is 10% battery life left. How great is that?

The battery is unfortunately not removable, so we had to recharge using a USB outlet and the cord provided in the box. Built-in battery means that you cannot vape while charging.

Cleaning the Device

As easy as the device is to use, cleaning it has been extremely straightforward as we unscrewed the device and used the disposable alcohol wipe supplied in the box.

The Key to Success

The Cloud Pen 3.0 comes with several atomizers: the dual ceramic coil, the Cloud Atlas glass tank, a dry herb atomizer and s vertical ceramic rod. You will find them all in the box.

Each coil is suited to a specific job, to avoid having wax clogging the herbs atomizer for example. So we liked such flexibility, and each vaping session we had got to the highest level, given the suited material for each concentrate.

Which atomizer is right for you?

The vertical ceramic rod atomizer is perfect for a smooth experience, focused on personal enjoyment.

The dry herb atomizer allows the user to switch it up from wax concentrates and deliver a distinct experience.

If like us, you enjoy thick clouds and straight-to-lung type of experience, then the dual-coil atomizer is the one to use.

How is the Cloud Pen 3.0 Better Than the Competition

We decided to compare the Cloud Pen 3.0 with a vaporizer that looks pretty similar, and we picked the OG Four 2.0.

Affordable, discreet, light and portable, the OG Four 2.0 features a great Lava-Quartz Coil Technology built to preserve the concentrates natural aroma. Also, combined with a strong battery, it makes taking dabs easy and convenient and helps produce quality vapor for a long time.

However, the main feature that makes the Cloud Pen 3.0 unique is the variety of switchable atomizers provided. It is hard to beat, and the OG Four 2.0 does not offer spare atomizers. In fact, it might even require a few trials before getting the atomizer perfectly loaded, which could be a bit of a pain.

That is why the Cloud Pen 3.0 remains our favorite, before the OG Four 2.0 vaporizer, unless you are looking for something easy to operate the OG Four 2.0 might be for you. However, we love the different atomizers provided, and it makes a big difference.

The Best-Customized Experience

Having a device with multiple atomizers means flavors paradise. We simply loved the Cloud Pen 3.0. For advanced users like ourselves, it was a greatly enjoyable experience.

To get started, we first selected the atomizer we wanted to use, then filled it in with the dry herb, wax or oil – we tested different concentrates – using the supplied tool in the kit to apply the concentrate, then attached the atomizer to the device, and replaced the mouthpiece. It was extremely easy; we could attach each atomizer with an easy click.

Next, we simply pressed the power button at the very top of the battery to start heating. One second was enough to get the device ready, before starting to press as we were drawing. Vapor was produced within an impressive few seconds. The clouds hit perfectly every single time, it was an amazing experience.

We were also very impressed with the great battery capacity, it fired each coil for about 20-25 seconds, and provided us power for about half a day of vaping!

To get back to the atomizers, we tested them with oil, wax and dry herbs. We had a quality experience while vaping menthol-flavored oil, and raspberry-flavored wax. Both types of concentrates were perfectly cooked by the Cloud Pen 3.0 to get the very best taste and flavors out of them. Amazing. However, it was not as great when we used dry lavender herbs; it was quite a disappointment. Maybe it has to do with the very small chamber. Moreover, the taste was significantly not as tasty as with the oil and wax.

So keep in mind that dry herbs might not be the Cloud Pen 3.0 favorite. Other than that, it is an amazing device.

Pros&Cons

We have to admit that we had an amazing time testing the Cloud Pen 3.0, it is the complete device from Cloud Pen. It features everything we needed to vaporize wax, oil or dry herbs. The choice of atomizers is what we preferred because combined with the strong battery, and each offered us not only a great flexibility but also the luxury the get the very best flavors at each refill.

It feels like we could enjoy a personalized vaping session each time we tried it, using what we preferred the most at each session. We think it is a great device for beginners, not only, because experienced users would enjoy it too. We did!
