Session Vapor Brand Overview: A Singular Focus on Oil Vapes

session website
Session Vapor has a small product line, which only goes to show how dedicated they are to making the best. This focus allows them to create, as well as improve upon existing devices. Their products divide into three separate categories:

  • Vaporizers
  • Cartridges
  • Accessories

Session Vapor Vapes

The vape line consists of two, variable voltage, 510-threaded mods for oil and e-juice cartridges. There is also a pen-style vape starter kit, with a tank and battery combo that is for vaping oils, as well as e-juice. The two mods, the Micro and the Pro-V, are battery mods that take 510-threaded cartridges.

The Pro-V is the more advanced, and more powerful of the two devices. The Micro has a small frame and an 0.47-inch slot for cartridges. The device itself stands at 1.9 inches. It features single-button operation and can output at three different voltage settings.

The more powerful Pro-V mod has a top, 510-thread and a LED display for users to control voltage levels. The Pro-V has a higher battery capacity at 900mAh, compared to the 500mAh Micro-V.

The more advanced Pro-V has a different form factor as well. The mod has a more traditional box-shape, with a single firing/power button right above the screen, as well as a bottom port for USB charging.

The most basic product in the Session Vapor roster is the Slim Starter kit that is an oil vape pen. The Slim battery also has 510-threading and a single firing button, with three separate power outputs.

Apart from mods and batteries, Session Vapor also features 510 tanks and cartridges. The C2 and the C6, respectively, are the two tank options that Session offers for use with their mods. The two tanks feature ceramic, Pyrex glass and stainless steel in their construction.

They both have 0.5ml capacities and feature adjustable airflow. Most important, both cartridges have 510-threading and are compatible with all Session Vapor mods.

#1 Slim Starter Kit

Session Vapor Slim Starter Kit

9.5/10 icon-question Review score

The Slim Starter kit is a premium vape pen from Session Vapor. It features a single 350mAh battery and a 0.5ml oil tank. Together the entire combo measures close to 5 inches tall.

The battery section features an all-stainless steel wrap that is both sturdy and lightweight. The cell has 510-threads, so it is compatible with the C6 tank that comes in the kit. It also works with any other 510-threaded cartridge.

There is a single, hexagon-shaped button on the battery’s exterior. The switch turns the device on and off. It also allows for access to the three variable voltage settings on the battery. There is also a pre-heat function available for the cell.

The C6 tank has top airflow vents along the base of its build. The airflow is non-adjustable though. The highest possible output of the cell is 4.1V. The all-ceramic coil inside the tank is suitable for thin oils, as well as e-liquids and has a resistance of 1.2ohms.

Users can switch between the various heat settings with three clicks of the firing button. There is a bottom USB port for charging the battery — the Slim features pass-through charging, which the bottom USB port facilitates.

#2 Pro-V Starter Kit

Session VaporPro-V Battery/Kit

9/10 icon-question Review score

The Pro-V mod and starter kit is Session Vapor’s top-of-the-line vaporizer. The mod itself is small and reaches only 2 inches in height, and 1.25 inches across. The mod has a minimalist exterior and comes in solid colors, like black or blue.

The exterior of the mod is step-up from the plastic of the Micro mod. The Pro-V features an anodized aluminum build. There is a 510-connection atop the device. Because the connection sits atop the mod, any style, size or length tank is compatible with it.

There is a slight indentation where the LED display sits to give a better grip when in use. Although holding the mod covers up the screen. The LED allows users to choose from among the four heat settings on the battery. There is a single, round firing/power button above the screen.

The four settings are 3.2V, 3.5V, 3.8V, and 4.1V. The mod has a bottom-USB charging port, and vapers can use the mod while it is charging. Since the battery has a 900mAh capacity, the vape life is well above-average. Users could use the Pro-V with any pre-filled or refillable cartridge for a long time.

The Competitors: Session Vapor vs. Source Vapes vs. KandyPen

Source Vapes

Source Vapes also features a product line made up of atomizer and mod combos. Their most popular item, the Source Orb is a heavy-duty atomizer for waxes and concentrates. There are several different versions of the Orb that all work with 510-threaded mods. Source Vapes also has simple starter kits that consist of a pen/battery and tank combinations. Source uses different materials in their atomizers from quartz and ceramic to titanium.

KandyPens

KandyPens is a California-based vape company that specializes in easy-to-use pens for oils and concentrates. Their product line is extensive and features devices for dry herbs and e-liquids as well. KandyPens gives each of their units a unique aesthetic design that combines quality materials with loud colors. Their devices range in power and sophistication. They feature one-button, pen-style vapes as well as more advanced, high-quality devices for concentrates.

Session Vapor Brand Overview: The Final Word

Have you tried any of Session Vapor’s products? If yes, how do you think they differ from other brands’ devices? Let us know how you rate Session Vapor by leaving your comments in the space below.

Session Vapor has a dedicated line of oil vaping products. Their devices are simple and easy-to-use. Their 510-threaded mod, the Pro-V, has excellent battery life. All Session devices feature pass-through charging, so vapers can use them while they are recharging.

Every item, tank, and mod supports 510-threads. The two Session 510-mods can support either slim pre-filled cartridges, as well as tanks of various sizes with the larger Pro-V. The ceramic coils in both cartridges offer a very pure vapor.

The Slim Starter kit has an attractive, stainless steel exterior, and works well with the C6 tank. The Pro-V lasts a long time, but it is a little awkward to carry.

The mod does not use a concealer port, like with most portable oil vape mods. Attaching the pre-filled or refillable tank to the top makes for a strange combination, but given that the power output is adjustable, the Pro-V still has an advantage over most oil vape mods.

All in all, Session Vapor has a unique product line. They have international shipping for all their products, and each item has a two-year warranty behind it
