Easy To Use

Starting with the squeezable trigger, there is nothing that complicates the use of this smart little mod.

The box width and height are 2.67″(68mm) and 1.5″(38.1mm), so the trigger fits the entire width and height. It pops out to reveal the settings button to change the temperature.

Once it is set, the trigger pops back into place and to use it, simply squeeze it five times to turn it on and then once to draw. There is no need to adjust airflow as the tanks are already set to get the best draw for vapor production and flavor.

To connect the tank, there is a magnet on the bottom, so it is as simple as dropping it into the battery. The connection is very strong so there is not a danger of the tank falling out. Switching from the oils to the wax is as simple as it gets. The drip tip swivels, so it does not matter what the position is in the hand. It will always be ready to vape.

It comes with different sized magnetic adaptors to suit large and small tanks equally well.

Versatility

There is so much versatility with the Honeysticks Phantom that it may be the only vaporizer one would need.

There are two tanks with magnet connections on the bottom. One for oils like a CBD and one for waxes and other concentrates.

In addition, they can be used with any other types and sizes of tanks. With different sized magnetic adaptors, it doesn’t matter if the tank added is short or even narrow. They won’t slide around in the battery.

Not only that, but cartridges fit perfectly on the tank, so it is a cinch to grab a prefilled or refillable cartridge and pop it in.

This includes ones like JUUL, as it has a rubber connection to handle any sized cartridge.

With the 1000 mAh battery, it is like supercharging a pod system vape.

How does Phantom Vape

It is not all bells and whistles. Honeystick actually put a lot of thought into how it would work, too.

The tank for concentrates features a dual quartz coil with a ceramic bowl. The concentrate is heated quickly and produces some nice clouds with crisp and accurate flavors.

The oil one is made of premium glass and a stainless drip tip with large absorption holes for excellent absorption.

A preheat feature gets the device to a nice temperature so the dab or oil heats evenly and quickly. Pro tip: Newbies should start with a lower temperature setting as it can run hot.

Battery life is fairly long and can last a few days before needing to be charged. Unless it is being chain vaped, anyway.

How Does the Phantom Compare?

At the time of this review, there weren’t too many other box mods that really could compare. The Phantom is a fairly unique device.

That said, here are a few contenders:

KandyPens ASAP Rocky

Like the Phantom, the ASAP Rocky features waxy THC concentrates and oil extracts capability. It looks like a cigalike, so the design is very different. Also, like the Phantom, it has a ceramic chamber and dual quartz coils, but for some reason does not match the vapor production or flavor accuracy.

Atmos Kiln RA

Atmos Kiln RA – Tiny and discreet, this 2 in 1 is a bit different than the Phantom so it cannot really compare fairly.

It does vape both wax and oils and does a good job, but is really limited as far as features. The vapor production is not nearly as good, but since this small unit is built for discretion, it cannot be judged unfairly for that.

To say that we are impressed with the Honeystick Phantom 2 in 1 vaporizer is an understatement.

The attention to detail and the versatility make this sleek mod really stand apart from the competition.

For new vapers, this kit is ideal to get started. It allows for trying a bit of everything to see what vape mode is going to work best for them without committing to buying multiple vaporizers.

Experienced vapers will love having a mod that is discreet and high performing that can be used as a backup or as a nice on the go vape.

The price is right considering how much value there is through the versatility and performance.
