What is V2 Pro Series 7?
V2 Pro Series 7 is a vaporizer that allows you to vape e-liquids, dry herbs, and concentrates by simply switching the cartridges. Additionally, it offers three different settings for both voltage (3.7V, 4.2V, and 4.7V) and temperature (390oF, 415oF, and 440oF).
It is slightly thicker than the Series 3, however, has the same length. The extra girth makes little difference regarding the form. On the other hand, it exponentially increases the capacity of the vaporizer. As compared to 1.6 milliliter capacity of the Series 3, the Series 7 can hold up to 2.5ml of liquid. Likewise, it can hold 13,000 mm3 of loose leaves as compared to 350 mm3. Last but not least, it has an 1800mAh battery while the Series 3 had only a 650mAh battery.
Just remember, the kit contains cartridges for e-liquid and loose leaf. However, if you want to vape concentrates, you will have to purchase the cartridge separately.

The Ideal User for the V2 Pro Series 7
Somebody who wants a portable device for vaping different types of mediums including e-juices, dry herbs, and concentrates. But, if you don’t use at least two of these, you might be able to find an equally good vape at a lower price.
The Series 7 is a portable, multipurpose pen that allows vaping all sorts of mediums by simply swapping the cartridges. It’s as simple as that. While other vape pens might be on par with the V2 Pro Series 7 in terms of performance, most of them support only one or two mediums and cost more.
V2 Pro Series 7 Vape Pen Design and Usability
The V2 Pro Series 7 has a unique design that features changeable cartridges based on an ingenious magnetic mechanism. Each of the cartridges comes with metallic rings on the bottom while the device has matching contact points. The system works seamlessly. All you have to do is align the cartridge, drop it, and it just snaps into place.
Although the Series 7 has several improvements over the previous model, one flaw in the design is very noticeable. And it can be a pain in the neck. For the e-liquid cartridge, even though there are two cylindrical gaps on the sides of the device, you still can’t see the inside of the cartridge when it is loaded. As a result, you are pretty much left in the dark on how much e-liquid is left in the cartridge.
Other than this minor flaw, there is nothing to complain about the overall design and build quality. It is not only extremely elegant but also durable and sturdy. The design is ergonomic and fits perfectly in your hand. The big, outsized mouthpiece allows for easy convenient vaping and can be popped open easily.
There are three lights right under the power button that show you which level of voltage or the temperature the device is working on. There is another light at the bottom which shows whether the device is ready to be used or not.
All in all, it has an amazing design which is stylish, durable, and convenient. We like how you can easily swap different cartridges to vape your desired medium.
How does the V2 Pro Series 7 Perform
Considering the small size of the pen, it offers a decent amount of vapor production and throat hit. It’s not as much as what you see in the case of sub-ohm vaporizers. However, for the price and size, it is praiseworthy.
The biggest caveat associated with the Series 3 was the extremely tight airflow. Although the Series 7 has a much better airflow, it might still be a little tight for some vapers. In other words, the unit is ideal for the mouth to lung vaping.
The V2 Pro Series 7 comes with a top coil design. This design depends on the capillary action; the user has to suck up the e-juice, that’s being pulled down by the gravitational force. Therefore, this results in comparatively poor wicking than the bottom coil designs.
Since e-liquids with high VG ratio are thick and viscous, they do not perform well with the top coil designs, and the Series 7 is no exception. This is why V2 offers high PG blends with their vape pen.
Series 7 perform fairly well for e-liquids, but if you are looking for an e-liquid-only vaporizer, it might not be the best choice. You can find better pens at a more reasonable price. On the flipside, if you want to vape dry herbs and concentrates, the Series 7 is hard to beat.
The kit comes with one e-liquid cartridge, which lasts for about 20 refills and more than 1200 puffs per refill. Additional cartridges cost $29.99.
Vaping Dry Herbs
The vaporizer excels when it comes to vaping loose leaf. The outsized oven can hold up to 0.5 grams of herbs and is heats up within just 30 seconds. Moreover, it’s very easy to clean because of the wide mouth, and has an easily detachable mouthpiece. When vaping herbs, taste matters more than the volume of clouds of vapor, and the Series 7 works on this principle.
The only issue we noticed when vaping herbs was that the vape stays active for two minutes and then turns off. Although it takes just about ten seconds to restart, it is still a bit of a hassle. Despite the draw being a little tight, we were impressed by the performance. We found out that for vaping herbs, the vaporizer performs better at lower settings.
Vaping ConcentratesHowever, the only nuisance here is that the wax cartridge isn’t included in the kit and you’ll have to shell out an additional $29.99.
Should You Buy the V2 Pro Series 7 Vape Pen?
The V2 Pro Series 7 might not be the best vape pen for vaping e-liquids, herbs, or waxes individually, but it is a bomb when it comes to using one portable vape for all these mediums. The huge capacity, long battery life, customizable temperature and voltage settings, and sleek design make it worth the price. We give this versatile vape pen two thumbs up.
