A Closer Look at the Voltrove Boro

The Voltrove Boro features outer stainless steel construction with a transparent shell around the chimney section and the build deck. The atomizer features a bottom bridge build platform that slides out of the plastic shell so you can access the interior build deck. A bottom panel hides the small threaded pin for use with a billet box mod.

But this pin can be removed, and you can screw the 510-threaded ring that lets you attach the tank to a 510-threaded mod. The bottom bridge is also the airflow control airway where the air comes in through the two sides vents. The build deck features a postless design with two lead terminals on the platform.

Leads can be secured with the two side screws located on the platform’s side. The internal chimney is integrated into the plastic shell and cannot be removed. It measures almost 4mm in height, but the kit includes a couple of chimney reducers that can bring down the ridge to either 2mm or 3mm.

The Look and Feel of the Boro

The entire atomizer has a well-made exterior that combines high-quality materials with expert precision. The ridges are all stainless steel, and the device features an all-stainless steel color and a smokey black version. The outer rim also features CNC engraving on the sides and the chimney.

The entire plastic section features a sturdy PCTG, a custom-designed shell that acts as the tank section. The plastic also features a fill-port that uses a tab to cover the port and allows users to fill up the tank with a narrow bottle nozzle. The bottom section features the two non-adjustable airflow vents, but the included pin can be removed and replaced with the 510 adapters in the kit.

Building and Mounting Coils

The build deck of the Voltrove features two-lead terminals with a large airflow vent in the center of the deck. The deck uses side-screws to attach and secure any leads to the deck floor and place them right above the airflow entry hole. On either side of the deck are two large juice wells that are ample for large amounts of cotton wicks.

The chimney attaches to the top of the deck and features a few engravings on the side. The large build deck can accommodate only single coil builds, but it has other options for use as a squonk device and a regular 510-threaded tank. With the chimney attached, and the tank installed, users can screw in their preferred drip tip to the top of the tank.
