Hellvape Fat Rabbit Mesh Tank is a tank that uses a myriad of coils, has a large e-juice capacity, and comes with different ways to control airflow. This tank is capable of operating not only with Hellvape’s coils, but it can use coils from companies like Smok and several more.

The e-juice capacity is 5 ml, and the kit comes with a bubble tank that increases the liquid capacity even more. Bottom and top airflow controls ensure that the drag can be tight or airy, depending on the preferences of the user.

Hellvape Fat Rabbit and Its Outstanding Features

Ever since the Fat Rabbit tank release date in August of 2019, this device has caught the attention of a lot of people. Made in collaboration with Vapin Heathen, it is capable of using 0.15 ohm and 0.2-ohm single mesh and quad coils, meaning that there are several ways to enjoy this tank. The replacement coils are decently priced and are highly economical. The coils are replaceable, making them an excellent purchase for users looking to vape without having to worry about building coils.

The tank excels in the area of e-juice capacity. The tank is made out of pyrex glass, and the regular glass can hold up to 5 ml of e-juice. With the extension glass installed, the device can hold an impressive 7 ml of juice. Even better is the fact that it uses a threaded top fill system. Once the cap is screwed off, the user will see two large fill ports. The top filling method this unit utilizes ensures that there are fewer chances it will leak.

Lastly, this device uses top and bottom airflow control to create an airy or tight vaping experience. The first airflow control ring is located beneath the threaded top cap, and the air entering through this section combines with the bottom airflow to increase the flavor coming from the coils and boost cloud production.

Appearance-wise, the tank has a utilitarian look that tells its users it is designed to produce results, not win beauty contests. The tank comes in several colors. Choose among stainless steel, black, full black, gunmetal, and rainbow. The tank comes with a relief of the logo.

What Comes with the Kit?

The kit comes with a full array of items. In addition to the Fat Rabbit sub-ohm tank, there is a quad OCC coil and a single mesh coil. Also included are a Hellvape sticker, one bag of accessories, and an extra bubble glass that expands the e-juice capacity to 7 ml.

An instruction manual also comes with the tank. It is well written and can fully explain the tank’s functions and limitations, and it can also help when the user needs to troubleshoot problems.

Internal Building Quality and Design

The Fat Rabbit is built from stainless steel, and the glass is pyrex, resulting in a tank that is very durable, so long as it is responsibly handled. The deck has a threaded coil connection, making it easier to insert and remove the coils. The juice refill ports are wide enough so that the tank can be refilled without too much spillage.

Hellvape Fat Rabbit build

All-in-all, the device is built to be long-lasting, dependable, and convenient.

Vaping with the Fat Rabbit

There are a lot of airflow options for the tank. Vaping with the top airflow open and the bottom airflow closed will result in a very tight drag. With the top closed and the bottom airflow open, there will be a more airy drag that will result in a lot of vapor.

Vaping with both of them open is quite airy, as well. The flavor is decent, but this tank is more for cloud chasers. One issue is that there is some leaking from the tank, which is likely because the coil and the top cap put a lot of pressure on the e-liquid in the tank. Other than the leaking, vaping with this tank was a positive experience.

A Dive Into Its Coils

The device uses pre-built coils that are made for use with this tank. Users can choose the 0.2-ohm single mesh coil or 0.15-quad coil. The quad coil creates dense clouds, and the flavor coming from it is excellent. The tank will also work with Smok’s TFV8 Baby Beast coil, Vaporesso’s GT, GeekVape’s Aero, etc. Users have a lot of options when it comes to coil selection, and are not stuck only with Hellvape’s coils.

The mesh coil should last seven to fourteen days, while the quad coils can last for several days to a week. Coil performance depends a lot on the settings on which the mod is run. Vaping at high temperatures will burn out the coils faster. For the best results from any coil, vape at moderate temperatures.

How to Use the Fat Rabbit?

Using the device is simple. To get started, first pull the drip tip-off. It is made from antibacterial material, so it will always stay clean. The top cap screws off to reveal two refilling slots that are more than wide enough for easy filling. Use a syringe to refill the tank. Using a syringe makes this step easier and mess-free.

The bottom unscrews so that the deck can be accessed for installing and taking out the coils. Select the coil and screw it into the bottom, and then screw the bottom into the tank until it makes full contact with the gasket. When installing the coils, do not worry about wicking. The cotton is already in the coils. Once all of these steps are completed, adjust the airflow by turning the control rings to the desired settings.

Final Thoughts About the Fat Rabbit

This tank is ideal for users who do not want to deal with the complications of building coils. The coils are prebuilt, so the vaper only has to screw them into the tank. This feature also makes the device suitable for users who have never vaped with coils. Plus, it can be used with coils created by other manufacturers.

These features regarding the coils are great, and another wonderful thing about this device is its e-juice capacity and the variety of airflow options. Vapers will also like that the Fat Rabbit is cheap, going for just over thirty dollars. The only downside to using it is that there is a little bit of leakage.

Readers who have used the Fat Rabbit should write their comments about it if they wish. Please let us know about your experience using this tank.

There are too many false and alarmist stories out there about life and vaping mainly. My mission is to make e-cigarettes less scary to people with informative articles and extensive research on not only the possible evils of cigarettes and Big Tobacco, but the objective side of e-cigs.
