The Horizontech Falcon Tank is a sub-ohm, 25.2 mm base diameter device created by Horizon Tech capable of holding 5 to 7 ml (Bulb Glass Edition) of e-juice depending on the size of the glass case bought. It has a threaded top fill system, new and improved Falcon coil technology, and a POM drip tip.

Dual adjustable air slots measuring at 14mm X 3mm can be fully opened or closed. The device also includes a delrin drip tip and a set of spare parts. It also features a creative and uniquely designed chassis with pyrex glass that is a marvel to look at.

Horizon Falcon Tank Review

As with any tank, the first thing the customer notices when he makes a purchase is the appearance, and the Horizon Falcon will not disappoint.

The model’s name is written in gothic letters, and the device and drip tips are available in a variety of colors, such as green, black, blue, and many more. The drip tip accents the color of the device very well. The glass tube is a great compliment to the stainless steel.

The design is truly impressive, as well. The top twists off easily in two rotations, allowing the Falcon Tank to be filled quickly. It is also easy take apart and put together.

A device needs to do more than look nice and have a good design, it also has to provide a good amount of flavor, and this Horizon tank does just that.

The quality of the flavor is matched pretty well by the cloud the Falcon sub-ohm tank produces as well. Keep in mind that this is a tank built more for flavor than creating huge clouds of vapor.

The Falcon coils really help to bring out the cloud and the flavor. The F1 and M1 (mesh) coils use a combination of 70 percent cotton with wood pulp added in. The wood pulp helps the coils to absorb the juice faster so that there are fewer dry hits.

The M1 mesh sub-ohm coils are arguably the best to use because they can last up to three weeks depending on how often they are used. If used heavily, they might last two weeks more or less.

How to Use the Horizontech Falcon

Prime the coils and let them soak for a few minutes, and then screw the coils onto the base. The coils are easy to grip, so putting them on and taking them off is easy. Place the glass back on by pushing it into the base. Screw on the top cap and cover. Add more e-liquid to the tank through the ports on the cover. Once filled, attach the drip tip. Again, let the liquid soak in for several minutes. Attach the tank to the mod and open the airflow. Start vaping at around 30 watts. Increase the wattage as needed.

How to Fill and Refill

Once the coils and cotton are placed in the tank, all is needed to do is add e-liquid to the tank as earlier explained. When the flavor begins tasting burnt, or is otherwise dissatisfying, it is time to replace the coils. When the new coils are ready to be placed on the deck, add the e-juice to them as stated in the previous paragraph.

Horizon Falcon Tank Coils

The coils are screwed onto the base, and there are several different coils, but it is recommended that the F1 and mesh coils be used instead of the others. These coils last longer and produce a better flavor.

The Falcon Resin Edition

The Falcon Tank is available in both stainless steel and resin. It is available in black, blue, green, red, white, and rainbow resin.

The Vaping Experience with the Horizontech Falcon

Those looking for a tank that will provide with a high amount of flavor will like the Falcon Tank. The vapor production is also high, too, but it is not built for creating big clouds.

This is primarily a flavor tank. There is also a good amount of smooth airflow. The only issue with airflow is that there is some noise when it is restricted.

Falcon Replacement Parts

Getting replacement parts for the Falcon Tank is not hard. Kits come with a spare pyrex glass tube and a bag of parts. Most distributors also have the option of buying extra replacement coils often at under ten dollars.

How to Take Apart a Falcon Tank

To disassemble the tank,

  1. First, remove the top cap and cover.
  2. Wipe away the residual juices.
  3. Once those are cleaned away, unscrew the coils from the base and wipe them down.

How to Unscrew a Stuck Falcon Tank

Some people have reported problems with their Falcon Tanks getting stuck. One trick that can help is to take the top cap off and open the airflow vents.
Insert a small screwdriver or needle nose pliers to get some leverage.

  • To prevent the device from getting stuck, be sure to clean it regularly.

How to Change the Glass on a Falcon Tank

There are two glass tubes that can be used with the Falcon, the regular tube and the bell-shaped 7ml tube.

  1. To remove and replace the glass, first, unscrew the top cap and cover.
  2. Take the base in hand, and gently pull out the glass.
  3. Wipe off both pieces of glass with a clean rag or wipe.
  4. With the base in one hand and the new glass in the other, insert the new glass piece, and then reassemble the device.

Does the Horizontech Falcon Have Any Competitors?

The Firefluke Mesh is one of the Falcon Tank’s biggest competitors, while the Falcon King Tank is another device created by Horizon that is an improvement over its predecessor.

The Falcon Tank vs Fireluke Mesh

Both devices are well built, but the Falcon is better than Fireluke Mesh for several reasons. Firstly, it looks better, having a classier look and design.

The Falcon is also better constructed, has better flavor, and the coils are easier to take off, according to this review on Reddit.

The Falcon Tank vs Falcon King Tank

When it comes to flavor, the Falcon Tank certainly was a pioneering device, but the Falcon King Tank is an improvement over its predecessor, mainly because it does not leak.

The Falcon King also produces incredible flavor, and it has some newer aesthetic changes that make it slightly better looking. It is well worth getting the upgrade.

Final Thoughts about the Horizontech Falcon

The Falcon Tank is an outstanding device, and it is sure to serve you well. It has a terrific appearance, coming in colors that every vaper should like. Most importantly, though, it is easy to use and take apart thanks to the cleverly designed Falcon coils and top caps. The coils are expertly made and designed, and they can last several weeks depending on the amount of usage, all the while producing great flavors that are highly satisfying. These features and benefits make up for any flaws that are built into the design.
