The Sub-Herb Dry Herb Vape Tank by Mig Vapor features 510 threading so it can vape dry herbs and waxes using sub-ohm mods. The all-ceramic heating chamber can vape as high as 27W and vape as low as 0.5ohms.The Sub-Herb also features an inert, Pyrex glass tube and stainless steel parts like the mouthpiece and atomizer base, as well as two bottom, adjustable airflow vents for even greater cloud production and customizability.

The Sub-Herb dry herb vape tank is for use with a typical box mod, which explains its gold-plated, 510 threading on the bottom, as well as the two adjustable airflow vents on either side of the atomizer base.
It consists of five separate parts: the stainless steel drip tip, an atomizer nozzle (also stainless steel), the glass tube, the ceramic heating cup/plate, and the atomizer base. The Pyrex glass tube houses the ceramic cup/plate, and snaps into place with the help of a couple of o-rings around the base.

The Sub-Herb has nickel-chrome coils baked into the dish itself, so they are unexposed and do not transfer metallic particles into the vapor. The kit also includes cotton wicks to vape concentrates. The tank has a diameter of 0.8 inches so it can sit flush on box mods of normal size.

The tank comes with a plethora of amazing features, just to name a few:

  • Sub Herb vape mod tank
  • 2 silicone mouthpieces
  • Rubber tank protector
  • Replaceable mesh
  • Wicks for concentrates
  • User manual
  • Gift box

Ease of Use

Using the Sub-Herb tank by Mig Vapor is as easy as pie. Remove the glass tube, stash the herbs into the dish, slam the tank onto any mod that fires at 0.5 ohms or below, set the wattage to 19–25 when you are using flower, or 23–27 if it is dab, press the fire button, and enjoy a smooth, consistent and perfectly flavored vape.[/vc_column_text]

Amazing Design of Mig Vapor Sub-Herb Vape Tank

The well-thought-out design of the Mig Vapor Sub-Herb sets it apart from the competition. In most tanks, you can see the coil protruding out of the baking plate. When the herbs come in contact with the coil, you usually get a burned taste. That pretty much kills the purpose of having a special tank for smoking weed. Mig Vapor has adopted an amazing approach to tackle this issue: they have baked the coil inside the ceramic dish. What it really means is that the herbs will never get burned by the coil, and you will get a smooth, consistent vape.

On top of that, it has a beautiful yet durable build. No plastics are used, Stainless Steel body and Silicone for the mouthpiece, while the tube is obviously made of glass. The white color makes the tank look good with mod of just about any color.

Sub-Herb Vape Tank vs. Black Sub-Herb Tank

While appearance should never make or break anyone’s overall opinion of a device, a nice design is always a solid bonus. In this area, Mig Vapor’s dry herb/dabs tank really shines. In many ways, Black Sub-Herb Tank resembles a typical vape tank, which provides a bit of discretion when users carry it around.

While many herb, dabs and oil combination vaporizers work differently compared to e-cigarettes, this tank keeps the same familiar feel. Like an e-liquid vape, the coil is replaced and inserted in a similar fashion.

Finally, there is the issue of maintenance. Dry herb and dabs vaporizers can get notoriously dirty. The tar-like residue is an absolute chore to remove; however, this product’s ability to be disassembled like a standard vape tank makes cleaning absolutely easy.

Performance

The Mig Vapor Black Sub-Herb Tank’s performance can be summed up into one word: “smooth”. Since it does not rely on combustion, the only thing produced is pure vapor. Simply set the device between 17–27W and it is set to go.

Thanks to its long, thin mouthpiece, the device provides strong vapor concentration, which inevitably leads to solid flavor. Meanwhile, the airflow holes lead to large, satisfying clouds.

Similar Products on the Market

The HoneyStick Oz Tank

The HoneyStick Oz sub-ohm tank can vape both dry herbs and concentrates, just like the Mig Vapor tank can with its all-ceramic plate heating element. The HoneyStick also has stainless steel and Pyrex glass throughout its construction, much like the Mig Vapor tank that also has mesh filters under its mouthpiece like the HoneyStick Oz. The two tanks have many similarities, but even though the Mig Vapor sub-ohm tank costs more, it heats up faster and has better vapor production than the HoneyStick Oz.

The Seego Vhit King Dry Herb Tank

The Vhit King is much taller than the Mig Vapor tank, as it is a huge, glass and stainless steel sub-ohm, dry herb tank with an exposed, stainless steel coil in an all-ceramic heating chamber. The Seego Vhit King can only vape dry herbs, putting it at a disadvantage against the versatile Mig Vapor tank. The Seego is cheaper than the Mig Vapor tank, but it is limited in its capabilities, compared to the Mig Vapor’s tank adjustable airflow holes, and its better vapor quality.

The Mig Vapor Sub-Herb Dry Herb Vape Tank: Overall Impressions

The affordable price of the tank is just icing on the cake. In short, it is almost impossible to beat Mig Vapor Sub-Herb Dry Herb tank when it comes to performance, affordability, and multipurposeness.

The product’s drawbacks are minor and barely worth a second glance. Anyone looking to expand their experience beyond e-liquids should definitely try this tank.

My way of understanding the significance of vaping came not only through the disruption of smoking but its effects on society as a whole. Now I bring people to vaping and bring vaping to people. I love using new gear, writing in-depth reviews and generally nerding out about vaping to like-minded people.

What is the lifetime of one ceramic coil, and are they replacable?

Does the coil have to be changed, if so how often???!
