Vaporfi Pro 3 Starter Kit Review — the True Vaping Experience

APPEARANCE

The vape has an understated, professional look. There are two rectangular windows on the opposite sides of the tank, a round fire button on the top of the battery section and a mini-USB port at the bottom. The “VaporFi” logo printed on the device. It is available in Silver, Pink, Blue, Green, Red, and Black colors.
There is also the option of choosing a different battery and tank color for creating a mix and match. The logo fades into the background of the device after choosing silver, but it is more prominent in other colors. The design, on the whole, is simple as well as elegant.

THE TANK

The decent-sized 2.5ml tank of VaporFi has an interesting design, somewhat similar to the Aspire Cleito. The manufacturers have incorporated coil and central chimney of the tank in one unit. The coils are pretty tall, having four columns made of five square wicking ports around the sides. This remarkable design gives the tank ample space to soak the juice and improve the performance at the same time.
The assembling of the tank is simple. Just insert the head of the atomizer into the tank, match the edges, screw the bottom of the piece in place, and it’s good to go.

TOP FILLING SYSTEM
The tank of Vaporfi Pro 3 features top filling system so filling the juice in the tank is going to be a piece of cake. After unscrewing the cap located at the base of the mouthpiece pour the juice into the opening around the edges. Just make sure that the juice does not get into the center of the tube. Keep an eye on the windows around the tank’s side to be sure when to stop.

AUTOMATIC AIRFLOW
Vaporfi Pro 3 does not come with any airflow control. It just has small blocks cut out of the connection between the battery and tank for the air to pass. Lack of airflow control can be a deal breaker for experienced vapers, but it can be a blessing in disguise for newbies. Not having to deal with yet another facet makes the vaping experience hassle-free.

REMOVABLE DRIP TIP
Vaporfi Pro 3 comes with a 510 drip tip, which is removable of course. It is a great match for the device.

510 CONNECTION
Although Pro 3 comes with a custom designed tank and works best with it, thanks to 510 connector it’s possible to connect the tank and vape. The vape is designed to take 2-ohm coils only.

Considering the performance of the Vaporfi Pro 3, it is all the magic of the 2-ohm coils. Although this coil is not super impressive for modern day vaping, for beginner or switching smoker looking for a mouth to lung vape. Enough vapor comes right after the first few puffs, plus the throat hit nearly replicates the smoking sensation. The performance is fine, but it could be better. Although all the key flavor notes come through the e-juice, there is a slightly muted taste to some extent. It does not quite live up to the flavor expectations that the high-end devices offer, but they cost a lot more.

With some other starter kits, new vapers complain about the burnt metal taste when they switch to vaporizers from e-cigs. There is no need to worry about this taste when it comes to Vaporfi Pro 3 because they have taken steps to eliminate it. The manufacturers have made this product worthy of attention from vapers and smokers alike. Overall, this makes it beat all entry level vaping devices.

BATTERY LIFE
The 1000 mAh battery included in the device is much bigger than what usually other basic vape pens have. The device can typically last through a day, but this depends on how frequently some uses the vaporizer. The good thing is that you can keep on vaping even if the device is charging, thanks to the pass-through feature.

The JAC Vapour Series S

The JAC Vapour Series S17 is a sub-ohm vape pen that can also vape mouth-to-lung style and costs $10 less than the VaporFi Pro 3. The 2ml built-in tank and adjustable airflow make the Series S17 a more customizable vape pen than the Pro 3. The Pro 3 is a starter kit so not having adjustable airflow is perfect for beginners. The Series S17 has only a 900mAh battery. The Pro 3 has a longer battery life thanks to its 1000mAh battery.

The Joyetech eGo Starter Kit

The Joyetech eGo Starter kit is the least expensive choice of all three devices. It costs under $30, which is an enormous value for a sub-ohm and above-ohm vape pen, with a 2ml built-in, childproof and leak-proof tank.

Regarding the exterior, the Joyetech is outfitted with LED lights, behind the battery and the tank which are customizable. The Pro 3’s simple, colorful surface has no LED lights, but the vibrant color options more than make-up for the lack of them. The battery is also the biggest, and longer-lasting, at 1500mAh.

The VaporFi Pro 3 isn’t the best unit available on the market, but it delivers what it promises. I’ve tried dozens of starter kits, most of them don’t even come close to the Pro 3, both in term of build quality and performance. However, this device is ideal for only new vapers or those who have only used e-cigarettes and aren’t ready for a sub-ohm vaporizer yet. As far as the price is concerned, the kit is definitely worth it and won’t disappoint.
