It is easily one of the most beautiful vape pens I have ever laid my eyes on. The Linx Hypnos Zero is a tiny, very sleep vape designed for vaping wax. It feels much more expensive than it is. At $77.99, this offers an ideal portable choice for those who want to enjoy their waxes on the go. It’s discreet, and you’ll be able to use it virtually everywhere without causing a major ruckus. Linx has a history of creating great portable vaporizers that exceed expectations. Their vapes allow their loyal followers to enjoy vaping in a variety of places. But the million-dollar question is, will they continue that legacy with the Linx Hypnos Zero?

Portable and Shiny

When you look at the Linx Hypnos Zero, the first thing that’s going to stand out is the size. You’re probably wondering where the atomizer is because it doesn’t even look big enough to have one. The atomizer is located under the mouthpiece which usually I would call dangerous. This is because it’s directly under the mouthpiece with little to no real protection from the hot wax. Also, vapor doesn’t travel long enough to cool down. But the good thing is that it decreases the overall size of the vape.

Speaking of the atomizer, it is very powerful, and that is due in part to the ceramic plates. The only thing your concentrate will ever touch in this vape is the ceramic – no metallic coils at all. It bolsters not only the flavor but also the vapor production. The pen also melts most wax remarkably fast, as soon as it heats up and touches the plate. You can see the effects of the hot ceramic doing its magic. Surprisingly, the exterior around the ceramic doesn’t get hot. I think that is due to the metal surrounding it.

One of the few gripes I have is the fact that the mouthpiece can get dirty very easily. However, it does come with a very sleek and clean all metal exterior and the glass mouthpiece. If you slack for a couple of days and don’t clean it, there will be a grime build up. This may taint your experience. While the pen is portable, the battery leaves a lot to be desired considering it is only 650 mAh. You won’t be able to go out all day and expect it to last. But again, the smaller battery means a smaller body. And did we mention it’s portable?

No Smoke and Mirrors

The vapor quality is my favorite non-visual thing about the Linx Hypnos Zero. The flavor is also perfect for something this tiny. I can attribute most of the success to the ceramic plate atomizer that sits below the mouthpiece. Ceramic is famous for enhancing both the flavor and the vapor quality of herbs, concentrates, oils and waxes. This is especially so with the latter. You can taste the robust flavors of the waxes when you’re vaping. On the contrary, metallic coils can alter the taste to some extent.

You get four temperature settings with this pen. Therefore, it allows you to customize what kind of vapor you want. Considering many pens offer better customization, this isn’t great, but for a pen, it’s not bad either. The colder of the two options provide a better flavor, with little to no vapor when you’re exhaling. On the other hand, the upper two settings are great. This is for when you want strong pulls and a much denser vapor than normal.

The airflow with this is also excellent. They made sure you’re not going to deflate a lung trying to get vapor out of the Linx Hypnos Zero. Many have compared this and the original Hypnos, and the comparison does make a lot of sense. There are four air holes around the inner edge of the chamber. As long as you aren’t trying to be gluttonous and overload your chamber, the vape will breathe just fine.

The chamber size is surprisingly small. You can still easily get quite a lot of draws from the Linx Hypnos Zero. It’s very efficient and isn’t going to have you wasting your wax. This is because you get to capitalize on every last drop that you put in. You also don’t have to put together coils or use rods. This makes the vaping experience much easier overall.

Pros & Cons

The Positives

  • Ridiculously portable
  • The stainless-steel build is extremely durable
  • Has a great, impurity free mouthpiece
  • Produces great, delicious taste
  • Very easy to use, and offers a decent overall experience

The Negatives

  • The tank is comparatively small
  • Produces smaller plumes of vapor, which can be a plus if you are into stealth vaping
  • It doesn’t have a manual locking feature

So, is Linx Hypnos Zero worth buying?

Like I said before, it’s not flawless. Things like the small battery do hinder the experience. Along with it, I would also mention the tendency of mouthpiece to have build up, and the small chamber. Despite these flaws, I’d say it’s easily one of the best wax vaporizers in its class on the market. It also isn’t too incredibly expensive coming in at only $77.99. This is on the cheaper side for a wax pen.

When comparing the good and the bad, the good outweighs the bad by a country mile. You’re not going take this vaporizer on long hikes or camping ventures. However, it’s still great for short outdoor trips. It’s incredibly discreet (especially on the two low-temperature settings). This vape is amazingly efficient at the same time.

This is a vape for all kinds of vapers. It can be for a beginner who has seen the great reviews. Or it can someone who’s been vaping for years and has finally moved to wax. It’s intuitive and won’t take long to get the hang of it which makes it even better. My main precaution with this vape is the battery size. This is a sit at home vape, and it doesn’t allow pass-through charging. That means once it’s dead, it’s dead. You can’t vape it until you charge it again. For the price and portable design, the Linx Hypnos Zero is a winner and gets two thumbs up.

I purchased the linx hynos zero and with great excitement. It broke twice in the first 6 months. First it stop charging. They promptly replaced it. Then the screw on the bottom of the atomizer loosened by itself with no way to tighten. They said it is not covered by the warranty even though the product was only 5 months old. So if you want a product that lasts more than 5 months, go with a different company.

Mine broke after two months and they wouldn’t honor the warranty:

    Hi Dan,

Thank you for providing the photo. Due to the nature of the product, we only offer warranty coverage or replacement on coils for a brief period, as they are considered to be consumables. As your order was placed over two months ago, we can only suggest ordering a new atomizer.

I purchased this item with lots of excitement. After checking multiple sites and different reviews I decided to give the Hypnos Zero a shot. It looked like it had what I needed and seemed like it was a quality product. Unfortunately when I received the Zero the product DID NOT WORK. There is some sort of issue that is causing the atomizer to not heat. I contacted the company and they offered to send me a new battery but the “upper management” refused to sent it expedited shipping, even after I told them I purchased this product for the sole reason of bringing it on vacation. This company does not care about making their customers happy. I highly advise finding another product so that you don’t run into the same problem as me. A company’s job is to make the customer happy. This company does not care about doing that.
