The Quickdraw 500 is a three-in-one device that is affordable, efficient, and capable of high-quality vapor. For the price, the Quickdraw 500 is a no-brainer, especially if you want an all-in-one vaporizer.

QuickDraw 500: Design and Use

When it comes to aesthetics, nothing bad could be said about the Quickdraw 500. The size makes it extremely portable vaporizer, and the shape makes it easy to handle. The Quickdraw 500 comes in several colors, all of which are tastefully made with a subtle finish that do not scream “look at me.” Design-wise, it is a minimalist piece of tech, with sleek lines and a simple button on the side.

Quickdraw 500 is one of just a few vaporizers that can handle dry herb, concentrate, and e-juice. Users who wish to change the medium they are vaping, simply swap the cartridges off. Changing the cartridges are easy as well since it is attached via magnets instead of being screwed. While this makes it easier for the user, it also means that drops can cause the head to pop off. Turning on the device requires one to push and hold the single button for three seconds. Doing the same while the unit is on turns it off as well.

Using the cartridges is dead simple too, and one can figure out how each works within five minutes, even without a manual. Users simply attach the appropriate cartridge, fill it up, and you are ready to go. The amount needed for a fill requires some trial and error, but a general rule is never to overfill it. Always leave some space inside avoid leakage (in the case of concentrates and e-liquid) and combustion (with dry herb). The unit detects what cartridge is used and adjusts the temperature according to the material to ensure proper vaporization.

When using dry herb, after filling the chamber, turn on the device and wait for the LED light to glow green. This will mean that the herb is ready to vape.

Performance and Comparison

For an all-in-one vaporizer in this price range, the Quickdraw 500 vapes very well. When used with e-liquid, it produces as much clouds as a mod. Concentrates give a solid hit as well while dry herb vapor production has been compared to be similar to the Pax. All-in-one devices are notorious for being jacks of all trades but masters of nothing, but the Quickdraw 500 comes close to being a master of it all. Overall performance may not match more expensive, dedicated vaporizers, but for the versatility and price, users will not have much to complain here.

The Positives

  • Portability
  • Ease of Use
  • Price
  • Performance

The Negatives

  • Cartridge heads can get knocked loose when dropped

Review Summary

The overall design and even performance will remind users of the Pax, and this is not a bad thing since the Pax is an excellent device. The Quickdraw 500 is more like the lovechild of the Pax and the Pro Series 7, combining the performance of the former to the versatility of the latter.

Getting high performance from a three-in-one vaporizer is difficult, but with the Quickdraw 500, it comes real close. Users can find better performing vaporizers out there, but for the price and flexibility, few can match the Quickdraw.
