For all the people out there who were fans of Innokin iTaste MVP series, the newest iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro version is out now. It looks almost the same as the MVP 3.0, yet it packs some more advanced features. And you can choose a golden mod! I mean, what can be even more spectacular than a golden iPhone or a golden MVP box mod! What can be more of a statement for the audience! We checked it in our review and here’s what impressions we got for you to share.

A Quick View

As you may already know, the Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro is the mid-wattage box mod addition to the MVP series by Innokin which ranked as a bestseller. The iTaste MVP3 was its previous version with a maximum output of 20 Watts. Also, the latest iTaste is the MVP 4.0 with a 100W output! The MVP 3.0 Pro is yet another durable box mod that is perfectly built with fantastic adjustable features expanded up to unique safety add-ons. For easy compatibility, with the most recent sub ohm tanks by Kanger, Aspire and Joyetech, the iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro was revamped to fire down to 0.2ohm.

So, in comparison to the iTaste MVP 3.0, the Pro version (besides the golden color) has some major improvements, while in the iTaste MVP4 edition there’s nothing drastically new, except the ability for more wattage level. I can’t really wrap my head around the purpose of doing that because the MVP series are famous for their awesome vapor on mid-wattage levels. And if I want the extreme power, I’d rather go for a 200W box mod. But in this review, we will focus on the awesomeness of the iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro edition.

Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro Colors

The package has nothing new to it. What you get in the box is the Innokin box mod itself, a USB charging cable, a 510 to eGo adapter, and User Manual. That’s it, and I was perfectly fine having just that, whereas I had no excessive details, like in Kanger Mini kits.

The golden cells on the surface look nice and durable. I can remember my previous Innokin mods that fell down on parties, and they functioned later on like nothing ever happened. What happens on parties, stays on parties, yeah. Thanks, Innokin.

What I loved was that the power enhancement didn’t mean the size enlargement. Because the mod stayed just as slim and ergonomic with a 4500mAh battery, as the iTaste MVP 3.0 with 3800mAh was. Design-wise, nothing crucially changed, and iPhone owners still need an additional USB output cable to charge their phones with the help of the Innokin iTaste MVP3 Pro.

The iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro: Vaping Sensation

First and foremost, I must mention one thing. The box mod is a necessary device for good vaping, but the overall vaping experience also greatly depends on the tank that you’re using it with. For my first vaping session with the MVP3 Pro, I decided to use my favorite Aspire Triton 2 tank. I preferred a 0.5 ohm Clapton Coil atomizer, which I’m happy to use without any specific knowledge of how to screw it into an RDA and all the high-profile electrician stuff like that.

Starting from around the lower point Voltage levels, I could see the vapor clouds coming like it was a stormy day right inside of my room. I didn’t receive enough warmth and throat hit, so I moved on and switched it to the variable wattage mode.

Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro

I think in the newest and so powerful versions of the MVP, the LED screen could be bigger. I need to make an effort to recognize what’s shown in smaller digits. But given the slim shape of the mod, and how easily it is to grip, I can live with that kind of display.

So my next stop was a 35W mode. The draw was smooth and effortless. I could taste every little hint of flavor. Even though I chose a 70/30 VG/PG rate, I was impressed with the cloud production. This thing works like a monster, and you don’t need any hard-to-deal-with mode to vape like a god!

The Innokin iTaste In Everyday Life

What I love about the Innokin MVP series is that I don’t have to deal with buying 18650 batteries to make it work and wait for ages while they charge in some separate device that also needs to be bought apart.

This Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro works for a day or two of direct-lung vaping all day long. I’m not taking into account here the phone charging thing because with this your MVP3 Pro will discharge quicker.

Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro USB

The iTaste MVP3 Pro looks perfectly fine; it’s a good buy for both girls and boys. It doesn’t need extra maintenance, and you can easily use it wherever you go. The build quality is so high-end that I bet you’ll never break your MVP3 Pro. The 510 connector takes the most of any compatible tank.

You can find a whole bunch of certificates on the Innokin website and among all the safety papers in the box, which makes me think that Innokin sometimes overprotects us. Meaning, why would you need a safety cutoff (If you decide to vape like hell, which is appropriate with all those features available) that is such a pain. After it pops out, the only way to switch back on the MVP 3 Pro is to connect it to an external power source using the USB cable. It looks like they didn’t fix it since the Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0, even though people asked for it.

Pros&Cons

The Positives

  • Huuuge battery life (4500 mAh)

The Negatives

  • Non-replaceable battery

Why It’s A Good Choice

Overall, the Innokin iTaste MVP 3.0 Pro looks like an ultimate box mod. Do you want a powerful vape device without separate batteries? Here you go. Any other wishes? Maybe, I don’t know, charging your phone with your vape? Got it! Plus any 510-connecting tank will be rocking on this one. The variable voltage and variable wattage modes are so simple to use. It doesn’t have a TC mode, but who needs it if on most of the box mods it is far from accurate. Sometimes I even think that wattage output, in fact, can be higher than you set it on the iTaste MVP3 Pro because the effect on clouds and taste you get is massive! Oh, and it’s golden (but you can choose other traditional MVP colors as well).

My way of understanding the significance of vaping came not only through the disruption of smoking but its effects on society as a whole. Now I bring people to vaping and bring vaping to people. I love using new gear, writing in-depth reviews and generally nerding out about vaping to like-minded people.

James, You are one Cool Dude and I love your outlook on the Vaping and bringing it to the People. Reading your thoughts and comments on another vaping device and bringing the clean truth about each and every corner of Vaping.
I feel like I’ve done due diligence on line familiarizing myself with more information that I never want to know…
but I came down to the Pegasus and the mod1V in gold none the less. I have 2 choices and not the 20-30 that
I was going through. I’ve been doing this now since 2012,truly thanks for all you done and continue to accomplish.

    Thank You Very Much,
    Julie Dorrell
