The Innokin iTaste Kroma-A is a 75W mod that stands out because of its portability, reliability, and functionality. The device has a highly ergonomic form with rounded and smooth contours that are more comfortable on the palms than is the case with other mods.

An Aethon chipset is integrated into this mod, allowing the device to supply a steady stream of power to the tank. Thanks to the temperature control suite, the Kroma-A can handle wires made of Ni200, stainless steel, titanium, and kanthal.

What’s in the Innokin Kroma Starter Kit?

The starter kit comes with a lot of stuff, so there is not much of a need to buy accessories. In addition to the vape, there is the tank, as well as two coils, with one coil pre-installed. Additionally, extra o-rings, a spare glass for the tank, a 510 drip tip adapter, and a micro USB charging cable are included.

Several extras come with it, as well. There is a vape band, stickers for decorating the mod, a warranty and battery card, and a user manual.

Innokin Kroma Build Quality

The build quality of the Kroma is outstanding. The first thing the user is going to notice is that the firing buttons are well fitted, responsive, and do not rattle. Another thing to like about the vape is that its 510 connection is very secure no matter what atomizer it holds.

There is some room for improvement, however. One serious problem with the device is that it has no venting. While the vape only goes up to 75w, it still would have been a good idea to build vents into it. Vents keep the battery and the area adjacent to it cool, which helps to prevent accidents.

Another part of the mod that Innokin needs to look at is the screen. While it is a good screen, the screen protector is too dark, making it difficult to read the display when in bright light.

Innokin Kroma-A Design

The Krom-A’s design is compact, portable, and practical. The compactness and simplicity of the vape make it easy to carry around since it can fit anywhere. As for practicality, it is compatible with other atomizers besides the Zenith because the older 510 connector adapter is no longer there. Any tank measuring between 24 and 25mm should fit well on the vape.

The paint job is as simple as the design. Customers can choose between red, white, blue, purple, and black. The color of the inlays are black and cannot be changed. The grip fits any sized hand well, and it is textured to make it easier to hold.

Using the Innokin Kroma Starter Kit

The Kroma-A works the same as other kits produced by Innokin. Three clicks turn it on and off. To change the wattage or temperature, press the plus button for two seconds. When the display starts to blink, use the plus or minus buttons to get the desired wattage or temperature.

The manual is easy to read, explaining the functions of the vape in a manner anyone can understand. New users should take a good look at it to develop a full understanding of the mod’s operation.

Kit Performance

The Kroma-A hits every wattage and degree accurately thanks to the inclusion of the Aethon chip. This chip is one of the best on the market, and it is excellent when it is operating on variable wattage and temperature control. Additionally, the device evenly heats the coils, and it has dry hit protection. So far, there have not been any problems with dry hits, nor does the liquid spit back.

The best feature on this vape is the 2000mah battery, which can last a day and change. People who vape heavily will be able to use it most of the day, too. The only critique of the battery is that it takes up to three hours to charge fully. But, on the bright side, it has pass-through charging, meaning it can be vaped while charging.

Zenith Tank

The Zenith tank is the best atomizer one can get with the Kroma-A for several reasons. The biggest reason to choose the Zenith is that it holds 4ml of juice, and it is easy to fill. Refill it by twisting the top cap off and then pour the liquid into the port. Additionally, it has airflow slots that are fully adjustable and two coils (0.5 and 1.6 ohms) that really bring the flavor out of the juice and make huge clouds.

A lot of Kroma starter kits come with the Axiom. The device is small, holding only 2ml of juice, and its small size makes it hard to put in and prime the coils. When faced with a choice between the Axiom and Zenith, choose the Zenith.

Competing Products

Innokin Kroma 75w vs. Vaporesso Luxe 220w Kit

The Vaporesso Luxe is a super-fast firing vape that is ready to vape in under a second. Secondly, it fires up to an impressive 220 watts. The Vaporesso Luxe also has a much larger and more colorful screen, and it is much easier to read the display.

Another difference between these two mods is that the Vaporesso Luxe uses dual 18650 batteries, making the best choice of the two products for those who prefer their own cells.

Innokin Kroma vs Smok X-Priv 225W Kit

The Smok X-Priv is a very high-end device that fires to 225 watts. It also has smart atomizer recognition, and it is available in more colors than the Innokin Kroma-A. Another considerable difference between these kits is the tanks.

The Smok X-Priv comes with the TFV-12 Prince tank, which holds 5 ml of juice with the standard glass and 8 ml with the extension.

Last Word on the Innokin Kroma Starter Kit

The Innokin Kroma with the Zenith tank starter kit is ideal for someone who wants something that not only performs at a high level but is also affordable and straightforward to use. The device is highly intuitive and accurate, thanks to the inclusion of the Aethon chip, never missing a beat.

There is also the Zenith tank, which holds a respectable amount of liquid and delivers an impressive amount of flavor and clouds with every puff. While there are issues with the screen and the lack of any vents is a significant design flaw, it is still an excellent starter kit for the price.
