GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC is one hell of a mod, that is designed to take a beating like a soldier and still perform like a king. It is one of the best mods in the industry by any standards and competes with high-end products like the VooPoo Alpha One x, the Vapeman Steam Engine DNA 75 TC Box Mod, the Sigelei Fuchai 213W, or the Wismec Reuleaux DNA 200. These are the leaders of durability and GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC is second to none in this niche.

Its claims of being a shockproof and waterproof mod and this claim have been tested by many veteran reviewers and they stand true by our tests too. The GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC is truly a miraculous device and it just won’t break. It is made up of three materials, zinc alloy, aluminum, and military-grade silicone. Two of the Aegis’s variants have leather-type polymer attached to the front end. It adds a subtle style to it and also feels good on the grip. The device is highly ergonomic and each and every corner of the mod reeks of user-friendliness.

The most noticeable example would be the closing lid of the battery, which has an ingenious hook and unscrew system, that feels very finger-friendly to work with. The stainless-steel threading is complemented with a silicone gasket, which makes it waterproof. The battery chamber is huge and can accommodate a single 26650-battery, or you can use a 18650 battery with a silicone band, that is provided in GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC kit.

The fire button is designed to fit the curve of your fingers and is another place where GeekLeaf proves its thoughtful designing. The 510-tank port is made of stainless steel threading, and you can fit in an RTA of any size into this beast, without any overhanging. It will also take any coil type and give you sub-ohm vaping experience, deep down at 0.1 ohms. Let’s check out the pros and cons of GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC:

How tough is GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC?

GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC is one of the toughest mod in the industry. Carved out of military grade 810G-516.6 shockproof material standards and IP67 dust and waterproof coating, the device withstood 2-story falls with minor scratches. The gasket covered plug holes made it impossible for water to sweep in during water-bath tests.

GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC can be turned on/off with five quick clicks of the power button. The main interface is clear and concise and shows you the coil, amp, volts, and puffs, along with the wattage in power mode and the temperature in the TC mode. Holding down the up and down button at the same time will lock/unlock the device. However, the fire button will still work in locked mode. GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC has also introduced a way to manipulate the device brightness and it helps a lot in battery conversation. It is one of the few mods that allows you to the change the brightness of the screen. To change the brightness of GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC, you have to hold down the up+fire button for increasing the brightness and down+fire for decreasing. Cloud chasing review with GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC

The vapor quality in GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC is top-notch and you can customize your vaping experience to a large extent with this solid device. You get the usual temperature control feature and a sophisticated wattage control mode, where you can automate your entire vaping experience by setting a power curve. This feature comes in with its latest update and the device carries a special USB port for updating its chipset. Unlike other brands, Geek Leaf has a consistent record of giving out useful updates. The USB port for the update is located at the bottom end, just beside the coil head port, and is accessed by unscrewing the top part. The Power Control mode is extremely dynamic, and you get a range of 1 – 100 W, with 0.1 increments. This lets you play with subtle areas of vaping and gives you access to the new VPC mode, which lets you play around with your vapor.

What is the VPC and the Bypass Mode in GeekVape Aegis?

The GeekVape Aegis 100W, like the Mamba or the Asvape Strider, has the coveted VPC (Variable Power Control) Mode. The VPC mode lets you set a power-distribution curve, over five vaping phases, during which the chipset will take care of your power controls. In Bypass mode (mech mod), you will get the max voltage available in the battery.

Winding up the review of GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC

GeekVape Aegis 100W Waterproof TC is one of the rare mods that comes very close to perfection. Apart from its bulky appeal, we don’t have any complaints with this mod. You can fit in any RTA under the sun and do a lot of experimentations with your vapor. We recommend this product because of its futuristic features, which will take quite a while to become outdated. Being a flagship product from GeekLeaf, we also expect the company to release further firmware upgrades, which can add new features to your vaping experience. Its durability and versatility are well known in the vaping community and if you can invest in a quality mod, then this can be a lifetime friend. We give this mod a rating of 9.5 out of 10, as we believe that there is always room for improvement.

One of the best mods i’ve had to date. I’m pretty clumsy and it hasn’t broken on me yet and i’ve had no issues with the software side of things. Great mod! Great pricing!

This box can break so don’t believe the hype, only dropped once from a nightstand not a 3rd story floor and of course it broke. For a product with such high hype you would think at the minimum they would offer a warranty Nope. Mine broke within 3mnts and no help whats so ever. Very disappointed. Hole reason i purchased this box was due to it being supposedly bulit strong. What a joke. I have one of 1st models with leather grip, which was supposed to be best one built, which store did tell me newer models dont seem to hold up that well, well either does their best model. A part that a consumer would nvr touch screws stripped buy of course has to be consumers fault even though we never touch this part. Dont waste your money.
