Hurricane Vapor E-Liquid Review – The Vapor Thunder

Hurricane vapor creates some of the most respected, high-end flavors out there. They keep getting awards for their exotic products and exceptional flavors. But did the hype hold up after we tested them ourselves? Read on to find out what we thought about them.

The Bottles

First off, we have to say that we love the 15ml bottles. Most companies offer a choice of either 10 or 30ml servings. The 10 will tend to run out too fast and the 30 just isn’t a decent sample size. You either get too much or not enough for a good vaping session.

So we like that Hurricane Vapor offers a happy medium between what is normally offered. It is small enough for a sample size abut not so small that you burn through the liquid before you are finished with your session.

The Flavors

Here is where Hurricane Vapor is making their biggest impression. They are known for their tobacco flavors. Most companies have their specialties, and Hurricane Vapor mostly sticks with tobacco-infused liquids, offering a much wider variety of this kind of liquid that pretty much anyone else on the market. They have some fruit and dessert flavors too, but tobacco is their bread and butter. We took a sampling of the flavors available to give you an idea of a few we think you should try and some we wish we hadn’t tried.

Vanilla Sky– This offers a great tobacco blend that will definitely hit the sweet spot for tobacco enthusiasts. We love our tobacco here, and Hurricane vapor can usually pull off a great tobacco blend. They’ve done it again this time, but that’s not all. With this flavor, they also added in the soothing, creamy experience of vanilla. The two flavors are a great combination and a rousing success.

Twilight Cavendish– This one feels like a serious misstep, and it does not hit the notes it is supposed to. It is a good rum vape, and it definitely offers the taste of liqueur in a nice way, but there is little tobacco flavoring to be had here at all. This is supposed to be a tobacco liquid with a honey and wood chip flavoring. But we got nothing of the kind. Instead, it offered the overwhelming taste of rum and no real throat hit. Label this one as a disappointment, especially after we had heard some people praise it before.

Belgian Simmered Tobacco– This one left us with some mixed feelings. On the one hand, it offers a chocolate that doesn’t taste burnt, which is a rare quality from a vaping liquid. On the other hand, the honey part of the flavoring description is almost imperceptible. And the liquid is pretty rough on coils, clogging them up quickly.

Cinnamon Roasted Almonds- Even though Hurricane is known for their tobacco flavorings, they do some amazing dessert flavors. This cinnamon vape is one of their best.  It offers a complex set of flavors, each of which you state in turn. And if you have tried the real snack that is found from street vendors in Miami, you will be impressed by how closely it tastes like the real deal.

Is Hurricane Vapor Worth Your Time and Money?

The cost for the 15 mil bottles is $10, which puts them at slightly higher than the market average. But with a wealth of great flavors, you rarely feel like you are being shortchanged. We enjoyed most of the flavors we tried, as you can see above. And their best products are some of the finest on the market, filled with exotic flavors that you won’t get anywhere else.

Pros:

Some truly remarkable flavors that you won’t find anywhere else

The bottle serving sizes are nice, offering a nice middle ground between sample size and a large bottle

But there are smaller and large sizes available, making for a nice variety

Some of the best tobacco flavors on the market

Cons:

Not all the flavors match up to the descriptions provided

Some flavors are double-edged, providing both excellence and frustration

Ultimately, we would recommend many of the flavors offered by Hurricane Vapor, just not all of them. It’s a good idea to find out about the flavors before you by them or at least buy a sample pack before investing in something larger. Because these are often gourmet flavors, they won’t be for everyone, and it is a good idea to taste test them.
