Grape Drank from Ruthless Vapor is a one-of-a-kind e-liquid with several different nicotine strengths (both salts and freebase) while also coming in several different VG/PG. The flavor profile also features many popular grape-themed flavors, from soda to candy and fruit. The e-juice is perfect for sub-ohm or MTL devices since it comes in several different VG/PG ratios and two nicotine styles. Depending on the vendor, it can come in either 30 or 120ml bottles.

Vaping It

grape drank e-juice review

This e-liquid combines the sensations of eating grape candy and washing it down with grape soda. It’s a double grape, which makes many people happy. With those two flavor profiles in mind, Ruthless Vapor decided to mimic the fizzy, sugary feeling of those two products as closely as possible.

The first inhale goes down smooth like it would drinking an ice-cold beverage, and the sweetness of the soda is obvious. It feels refreshing and satisfying while not overdoing it with the sweetness. Once inside, the cloud stays smooth but reveals the unmistakable pop of a Skittles candy.

The cloud size of the juice depends on the VG/PG ratio. The e-juice comes in many different varieties of e-juice that range from the MTL-friendly to the sub-ohm territory. The Ruthless Wholesale website is probably the only place to find the different VG/PG concentrations. But other online vape retailers carry a 60/40 VG/PG version that is more suitable for pod mods and above-ohm coils.

How It Tastes

The main flavor profile of the juice is obvious. While the company says that e-juice is supposed to twin the flavors of grape soda and candy, it is hard to tell where one begins and the other ends. The flavor, regardless of whether it is from pop or candy, is still present and tastes good. It has all the richness and sweetness of an artificial drink, but not actual grape juice, which is tart and has other taste notes.

What’s In It?

The e-juice has the base ingredients of all e-juices but in different concentrations. The most popular VG/PG ratio is 85/15, which is not precisely max VG, but it produces decent clouds anyway with a sub-ohm device outputting above 100W or more. Ruthless also uses tobacco-free, synthetic nicotine to reduce the risk of nicotine dependence.

What Device Works Best?

The best device to use Grape Drank depends on your VG/PG ratio. Most online vape retail stores offer e-juice in a single 85/15 ratio. But, mainly in the UK and other European countries offer a more MTL-friendly 60/40 ratio. You can also find a 55/45 VG/PG version on the official Ruthless website.

The high VG version works best, of course, with a sub-ohm device, regulated or unregulated. The resistance on the coils can be anywhere from 0.2 to 0.15ohms to get the most satisfying combination of clouds and flavor. The 60/40 variant works best with lower wattages that do not produce so many clouds but intensify the flavor. The most suitable resistance for the 60/40 could be between 0.2 to 1.5ohms or lower.

Where To Buy Grape Drank

Many online vape retailers carry it, so there is no specific site that would carry it or not. The official Ruthless Vapes website has a unique 55/45 version with only a single 120ml bottle size. Only freebase nicotine options range in strength from 0mg, 3mg, and 6mg.

Other E-Juices

Grape Ape Gum By Bubble Gang

Grape Ape Gum by Bubble Gang is another grape-based flavor with distinct notes of grape bubblegum and authentic grape taste. The e-juice is a bit sweeter than Grape Drank because it has a slight marshmallow taste that some people will like and others will not. The e-juice is available in a single 60ml bottle and comes in two different nicotine strengths, 3 and 6mg.

Juice Roll Upz Grape

Juice Roll Upz Grape is an e-juice that takes the sweetness factor to another level. The e-juice is based on fruit roll-up strips that have been a staple of every kid’s lunch since the 80s. The e-juice brings all that confectionary sweetness to the cloud, while it also has more mellow notes of grape that come out with the exhale. The e-juice is available in a single 80/20 VG/PG.

Conclusion: The Sweeter the Grape, The Better the Vape

Do you like grape or fruit-based e-juices? Which one is your favorite? Which fruit do you think translates best to an e-liquid? Let us know in the comments section below.

Grape Drank from Ruthless Vapor is an excellent entry into the collection of grape-based e-juices. It takes two familiar favorites – soda and candy. And it combines them into a memorable new creation that delivers on all levels. Grape soda and candy are very sugary, so there is not a lot of authentic grape flavor in the liquid. But that’s a good thing since most grapes are tart and slightly bitter.

But the other aspects of the e-liquid, like its nicotine strengths and VG/PG ratio, also make it versatile so that any style of vaper can enjoy it. It is not hard to find a lower VG/PG ratio for people who enjoy MTL vaping since the juice is sold mainly as a high-VG e-liquid.

My way of understanding the significance of vaping came not only through the disruption of smoking but its effects on society as a whole. Now I bring people to vaping and bring vaping to people. I love using new gear, writing in-depth reviews and generally nerding out about vaping to like-minded people.
