The original Univapo Miso pod mod had a lot going for it, like MTL airflow and a sleek and ergonomic design that made it great for people always on the go. However, there was room for improvement. This new version improves on the old and then some.

Univapo Miso C Pod Review

The Miso C pod is an excellent little device that has a lot going for it. Not only is it better than the original Miso pod mod, but it compares very well with its competitors, having great battery life, excellent build and design quality, and excellent features like adjustable airflow and compatibility with pods of different resistances.

Univapo Miso C Pod vs. Miso Pod

These devices are almost identical, but there are some differences.

  • One thing is that auto draw works on the Miso C, and does not work on the Univapo Miso, which was very aggravating.
  • Also, the Unuvapo Miso C has more resistances available, and the Miso only had a 1.2 ohm coil.
  • Overall, the Miso C is a much better device, but that is to be expected since it was made to be an improvement.

Miso C Vape Kit

  • One Miso C Pod
  • Battery
  • User Manual
  • Lanyard

Adding a lanyard to the kit was really good because these vapes are so small and easy to use. But another thing they should have added was an extra pod.

Internal Building Quality and Design

Good build quality on this thing. It feels good in the hand, and it is small and easy to transport without taking up space. It can be put in a pocket or purse without causing any inconvenience.

Univapo Miso Pod C Colors

Great placement of the firing button, too, and the color selection is great. Also, the connection between the pod and the battery is solid. There is zero wiggling and it is nice and secure.

Battery Performance

The battery performance on this vape is another great feature. It is a 600 mah internal battery, and since the vape does not use super low resistance pods, the battery can last all day, even if it is chain vaped. Better yet, once it dies, it only takes 20 minutes to charge thanks to the fast charging USB-C cable.

Battery Indicator Lights

The battery light is right above the firing button. It shines green, blue, and red for high, medium, and low charge. The vape should be recharged whenever the light shines red.

The Pod

There is nothing to complain about in regards to the pod. It has 2 ml juice capacity, which is good, but 2.5 or 3 ml might have been better. And, as earlier stated, the connection between the pod and mod are solid. There should be no worries about them separating by accident.

Refilling is a cinch with this pod. There is a cutout in the recess of the connection for the refilling slot so that the user does not have to take out the pod to refill it. That is the next best thing to a top filled pod.

The mouthpiece is excellently designed, and it feels super comfortable on the lips. It is perfectly made for MTL and RDL vaping. And speaking of MTL and RDL, this vape has adjustable airflow. The user can switch the pod around and get an MTL or RDL draw, which is pretty sweet.

The coils in the pod are not replaceable, which is a con for some people, but even so, coil performance is impressive. There are pods with 0.8, 1.0, and 1.2 ohm coils.

The 0.8 ohm coil provides warmer hits and is great for RDL vaping, while the higher resistance coils are slightly cooler and are great for the higher nicotine content vape liquids. Whatever resistance the user chooses, the flavor is going to be top notch.

Also, no spitback whatsoever. Univapo’s site says that the pod has a special chamber to collect condensation, which can cause spitback, according to them. Well, it works, as there has been no spit back so far.

Vapor Production

Most devices like this do not produce a lot of vapor, but this one is an exception if vaping with the 0.8 ohm coil in RDL mode. It will not produce as many clouds as a box mod with super low resistance coils, but it can hold its own in this department.

Compatible Juices

The 0.8 ohm coil can handle 60/40 vegetable glycerin to propylene glycol liquids, and the other coils are better with 50/50 liquids with 12 mg or higher nicotine concentrations.

How Long Do the Coils Last?

These coils should last a week or more if they are properly primed and used with the right liquids. Even though the makers designed the pod to be resistant to spitback, it is still a good idea to properly prime the coils. Often, the features that manufacturers claim reduce do not work as well as they think.

How to Use the Univapo Miso C Pod

  • Fill the pod by lifting the refilling tab and inserting the nozzle into the hole
  • Allow five to ten minutes for the coil to absorb the liquid
  • Rotate the pod to switch between MTL and RDL airflow

Step-by-Step Button Guide

  • Click five times to power device on/off
  • Three clicks locks the device

Competing Products

Miso C Pod vs. Ovns Saber 2

The Ovns Saber 2 is a great device, but it is designed for very highly concentrated nicotine salts with its 1.4 ohm coils. Also, it will provide a much cooler vape than that the Miso C does.

Ovns Saber 2

The only real advantage the Miso vapes have over the Saber 2 is 0.5 ml more juice capacity. But, since the Saber 2 uses such a high resistance pod, it does not need more than 1.5 ml.

Miso C Pod vs. GeekVape Wenax K1

The Weenax K1 is another great MTL pod mod, and its chief advantage is that it has adjustable voltage.

There really is not much difference between these devices besides the design and that the Miso C is compatible with more resistances than the Wenax K1.

The Positives

  • Adjustable MTL and RDL airflow
  • Excellent flavor
  • Good MTL and RDL draw
  • Outstanding battery life

The Negatives

  • Only one pod in the kit

Final Thoughts

There is not much to complain about after examining this mod. The only complaint is that the kit only comes with one pod, and if that pod is broken, it is bad news for the user. Two or three pods would be more like it.

Other than that, this pod mod does everything it should do. It has very good flavor and decent vapor production, and the feature where the pod can be rotated to change the airflow is good, too. Also, last but not least, it has a very good battery that makes this device an all-day vape.
