The Sourin iShare kit is a multi-piece, on-the-go pod vape system comprised of two iShare stick-styled pod mods and a power bank with a 1400mAh rechargeable battery.

The power bank, which uses a MicroUSB cord, can charge both sticks at once and is designed to go wherever you do. Each single unit holds 0.9mL of juice and runs on a 130mAh rechargeable battery.

Each pod vape has a maximum output of 9 watts, making this device ideal to get started vaping.

iShare Review

The iShare has many attractive features designed to appeal to all types of vapers, beginning with convenience.

One vape pod is about the size of two cigarettes together, making it ultra-portable. More specifically, it has been described as about as long as your index finger and less than a centimeter thick. And while it only has a 130mAh battery, the low wattage allows for many pulls before it has to be recharged. The refillable cartridges are easy to use, requiring a quick removal of the mouthpiece, removing the silicone stopper and fill.

Quality has always been a characteristic of Suorin products, and the iShare does nothing to change this perception. The cartridge and mouthpiece click smoothly back together, giving it the feel of a device that was made well and made to last. The small size of the single iShare pod mod makes it slightly tricky to fill, as you have to fill around the chimney, otherwise the unit will leak.

As well, Suorin recommends an e-liquid ratio between 60/40 to 70/30 VG/PG, otherwise leakage or dry pulls may occur. The .9mL juice capacity is surprisingly large for a device this size and, with the low wattage, lasts for an impressive amount of pulls.

The iShare comes in at around $12 for a single vape. This comes with a charger, proprietary to Suorin, a pod cartridge and the unit itself. Initially only available in black or white, the Metal edition features five colors to choose from, vastly improving the aesthetic feel. An LED battery light on the front of the device ensures the device is charged, as well as a different LED light, blue, that goes on when you take a pull. As well, the textured surface of the device makes it easy to handle, which is important considering the small size.

The iShare Ultra Starter Kit

The starter kit for Suorin comes with 2 iShare pod vapes, a power bank that holds the 2 devices at once, and a micro USB charger for the power bank. The power bank is a 1400mAh battery that can charge 2 vape sticks at once. With the power bank, you can plug the micro USB into your car charger, or computer at work, and always make sure you have power to your pod vape.

Vaping the iShare

Many have noted the exceptionally smooth pull, as well as the ability to produce a decent amount of vapor considering that the resistance of the atomizer is a low 2.0ohms. While you won’t be entering any cloud competitions, it still can pack a punch.

This device is draw-activated, creating an extremely efficient inhalation. Kit provides amazing feature: ability to use both vapes at the same time. This means you can have two different types of juice available at once.

How to Prime

  1. Remove the pod from the unit. Take off the mouthpiece and then remove the silicon stopper. Make sure the chimney is clear to avoid dry hits or leakage.
  2. Fill the pod, being sure not to overfill and get any juice in the chimney. Filling halfway up the chimney should suffice more most users. Make sure all the connections are tightly in place, as the smallness necessitates snug connections.
  3. After filling, replace silicone stopper and let sit for about 5-10 minutes. It is also recommended you take a few dry puffs in order to aid the priming process. When the device is ready, simply take a pull. There is a blue LED that will illuminate while you are taking a pull, not to be confused with the white LED charge light at the bottom. Be sure that the pod is connected securely to the unit when taking that first pull to ensure success.

Internal Building Quality and Design

The iShare pod vape features a hard plastic outer shell, mouthpiece, and pod. The silicone stopper on the pod is substantial. The width is comparable to a set of chopsticks and is about the length of a regular sized index finger.

It can be purchased in a metal edition, with 5 colors to choose from, and is shiny rather than matte. While the primary material is plastic, the device comes apart and fits together snugly, clicking into place and exhibiting an overall quality feel.

Battery and Charging

The 1400mAh battery in the power bank is powerful enough to charge both of your pod vape for an entire day. While each stick only has a 130mAh battery, the total of the 3 devices, 1660mAh, is a ton of power.

As well, a full charge takes around 2 hours. Each ishare single unit fits comfortably into the power pack and contains a magnet at the bottom to hold it in place.

iShare Running Temperature

The running temperature runs on the lower end, close to 300°F, as it features a resistance 2ohms. Since the vaporizers run on a battery of 130mAh, the low temperature is a must otherwise the battery life would be close to nil. However, the low temperatures allow you to savor the full flavor of your e-liquid, particularly nic salts.

iShare Replacement Pods

The recommended length of use for an iShare vape stick pod is about 5 refills, so you are going to need replacement pods.

A pack of 3 can be found for around $8 online, with little variation. The replacement pods are identical to the portable pods that come as part of the pod mod singles or kit.

The pods feature a horizontal coil atomizer and the same 0.9 mL juice capacity. Suorin is quick to point out that the cotton within the pod is 100% organic and won’t interfere at all with juice flavor. The coil and cotton are visible through the clear plastic shell. These pods have an output of 9 watts and operate using the gold-plated resistors on the bottom. When purchasing the replacements, you can expect the exact same look, feel, and operation as you would from the original pods.

How to Fill

To fill the iShare, simply remove the cartridge on the top. Remove the black plastic mouthpiece. Then you will see the silicone stopper, which is also removed. Fill the pod, taking care not to get any liquid in the chimney. It is recommended that it be filled only about ¾ of the way full to avoid leaks and dry pulls.

Lifespan of the iShare Tank

Suorin iShare filling img

The lifespan of a pod, as always, depends on the user. However, for these pods, it is recommended that the pod be used no longer than 5 refills, or 3 days. Thanks to a transparency coil and cotton can be checked at a glance through the pod.

How Many Times can I Fill the iShare?

The pod can be filled at least 4 to 5 times. Again, depending on the type of user you are, it may vary. However, it is important to keep an eye on the cotton within the pod in order to maximize the flavor of each hit and ensure smooth pulls every time.

Juice and Nic Salts for the iShare

For many users, the iShare was made for nicotine salts. The smoothness and similarities to regular cigarette smoking attract many to nicotine salts. Since they vaporize well at lower temperatures, the low wattage makes it ideal for salts.

If you just prefer a variety, this pod vape offers you two different flavors the can last all day, on the go. Overall, a 70/30 to 60/40 VG/PG composition is the ideal e-liquid ratio for the iShare.

iShare vs. Drop vs. Air

The iShare is unique because it comes with the power bank and two single vape sticks, hence the name “share” and the ability for lengthy on the go vaping without charging.

On the other hand, the Suorin Air is physically the largest vaporizer of the 3, but also has the largest battery at 400mAh. The pod size is 2.0 mL, which is over twice the size of the iShare.

Suorin air img

The Drop also has a pod size of 2.0 mL, but it’s the battery is 310mAh, putting it between an iShare vape stick and the Air in terms of battery life.

Suorin Drop Review Image

Each of the 3 devices is draw-activated and charged via micro USB. The pods are all refillable; the iShare and Drop feature the same frictionless removal of the pod and refill method. The Air, on the other hand, is refilled on the bottom of the device via a seal plug at the bottom of the reservoir.

iShare vs. JUUL

The JUUL e-cigarette and the iShare vape sticks are similar in specs, but there are several critical differences of which users should be aware.

First of all, the JUUL offers only non-refillable, proprietary pods, unlike iShare. As well, the JUUL juice capacity is 0.7 mL which is less than the iShare at 0.9 mL. While JUUL claims this will last up to 200 puffs, this may vary depending on the frequency and the type of draws the user takes.

JUUL Pods desktop

The size of the 2 devices varies as well. The JUUL is almost half the length of the iShare and is nearly the size and weight of an actual cigarette.

They also charge differently. The iShare uses the portable power pack, while the JUUL is charged via a docking station that must be plugged in.

Due to the variation in size, the wattage is slightly lower due to the smaller battery within the JUUL. However, max wattage only varies slightly, with the JUUL clocking in at a max of 8 watts, and the iShare at 9.

Rounding Up

The iShare offers portability, longevity, and flexibility that is unmatched in the vaping market. Individuals looking for a portable device – and, let’s be honest, who isn’t? – will be drawn to the iShare kit for its ability to keep two vape sticks charged while on the go.

Also, since the pods are refillable, you don’t have to worry about purchasing new pods after only a couple hundred puffs. The 2 vape stick design allows the user to have a variety of juices at the ready.

Finally, the low wattage of the iShare encourages the use of nic salts which, with its MTL design, will appeal to users seeking a cigarette alternative or a veteran looking for a smooth experience without the harshness of a cigarette.
