Oxva Xlim Review
The Oxva Xlim is an excellent device for people who want wonderful flavor, and a strong throat hit. Additionally, it has impressive features like side airflow control, screen, and auto and manual draw options. It is also leak-resistant, comes with two pods, and has 25w of output. There are some issues with the product, but overall, the manufacturer did an outstanding job.
There are three airflow settings, and vapor production depends on which setting is chosen. The looser the airflow, the better the vapor production. It still will not produce as much as a box mod, but it is still pretty high.
Here is an excellent opportunity to talk about the airflow settings. Airflow on this device is perfect because it can handle tight and airy MTL hits. On either setting, the draw is smooth, the flavor is excellent to acceptable, and there is no whistling or odd noises.
All of the usual features are included in this product. Additionally, it has a leak-resistant design and a bacteria-resistant mouthpiece.

Internal Building Quality and Design
There are a lot of good things to say about the build and design quality. First off, it has a nice, ergonomic feel that makes it easy to transport and comfortable to hold. As for the build quality, the connection between the pod and vape is solid, and there is no wiggling. Also, the airflow control is on the side and well placed.
The only bad thing about the vape is that the mouthpiece is hard to take off. You have to stick your fingernail between it and the pod and pry it off. Unfortunately, things challenging to take apart are also easier to break, so be very careful.
Oxva Xlim Battery
The device is powered by a 900mah internal battery, which is pretty good for a 25w vape. Expect this pod mod to last most of the day. It also has a type-c charge port and cable so that it charges very quickly.
Many pod mods do not have screens, but this one does, thankfully. While not fancy, it displays everything the user needs to know, and the readout is discernible in all light conditions. It shows the wattage in the center and battery life, resistance, and a puff counter.
A quick thing to mention about the puff counter is that there is no way to reset it. So instead, they made it to where the puff counter resets automatically whenever the vape is turned off.
The Oxva Xlim Pod
The starter kit comes with two pods, one of which is pre-installed. Unfortunately, as earlier pointed out, the mouthpiece is challenging to pull off, making it harder to refill. But once the mouthpiece is taken off, the fill port is on the top. This would be a good feature if the mouthpiece were not so hard to take off.
Other than that, it is a good pod, and the mouthpiece is well designed except for the part about taking it off. It is nice how it tapers down to the hole at the end. It fits between the lips comfortably, and it channels the vapor nicely. Also, the pod’s refilling port has a rubbery membrane that prevents liquid from leaking out.
Oxva Xlim Coils
Two 2ml pods come in the starter kit, one with a 0.9 ohm coil and a 1.2 ohm coil. These coils do an outstanding job at producing strong and flavorful throat hits. The only thing about these coils is that they cannot be replaced, meaning the pods are thrown away when the coils go bad. This is not a pro or con, just a statement.
As for the best setting for getting the best flavor, use the coils at the recommended wattage settings of 12 to 16 watts. Going too high up on the wattage can gunk up the coils. If you want to get up to 25w, use a vegetable glycerin liquid.
Since these are high resistance coils, they are best used with 50/50 propylene glycol to vegetable glycerin. These liquids will ultimately produce better flavor than something with a high VG content.
How to the Use Oxva Xlim Pod Starter Kit
Aside from the problems with the mouthpiece, this vape is easy to use.
- After taking everything out of the package, the first thing to do is remove the mouthpiece and fill the pod.
- Next, stick the juice nozzle through the membrane and filling port and fill.
- Allow five to ten minutes to pass before vaping.
- Doing this gives the coils enough time to absorb the liquid, which reduces the chances of any dry hits or spit back.
The airflow control is adjusted using the switch on the side of the vape. There are three settings: loose, medium, and tight. These settings are perfect, although the taste gets a little diluted on the loosest setting. However, the draws are excellent, and it is nice that this pod mod has every type of MTL setting.
- Five clicks turn the vape on and off
- Three clicks to adjust the wattage and then click to increase it
Oxva Xlim vs. GeekVape Wenax Stylus Kit
Both devices are a joy to use, but one of the things people will enjoy about the Wenax Stylus is that it comes with a lower resistance 0.6 ohm coil. However, when vaping with that coil, users will not get the restricted lung hit they expect.
Also, the fill port is challenging to get off, so it shares the characteristic of an inaccessible fill port with the Xlim.
While this device’s flavor is on par with the Xlim, the Xlim has a slightly smoother and much less noisy draw.
Oxva Xlim vs. Uwell Caliburn Kit
The Caliburn has been around for two years, and the market has come out with many different and better devices since. The main reason it is better is that it has variable wattage, and the Caliburn does not.
The Caliburn fires at 11 watts and nothing else. Another thing about the Caliburn some people are not going to like is its loose draw. It is too loose for a pod mod, while the Xlim has a full range of airflow settings. If faced with a choice between the two, buy the Xlim. It is a newer product and offers a much better vaping experience.
Oxva Xlim vs. VooPoo Vinci Pod Kit
The VooPoo Vinci Pod is the best product on the list, other than the Xlim. It has excellent airflow that alternates between airy and tight, and it also has fantastic flavor, impressive battery performance, and high responsiveness.
The Xlim has all of these advantages, but it also comes with a screen and two sets of pods. The Vinci does not have a screen, and it only has one pod. This was a tough choice, but the Xlim is slightly better because it has two pods and a display.

Final Thoughts About the New Oxva Xlim
First, the cons. The mouthpiece is the most obvious flaw in the design, and the manufacturers need to do something about this. But, again, having a mouthpiece that is almost impossible to get off makes it vulnerable to damage. Just be careful when taking it off and try not to lose your patience with it.
The mouthpiece is a huge con, but the advantages clearly outweigh that one blemish. The airflow on this product is superb, as is the taste, and it is nice that the pod is top-filled, despite the problem earlier mentioned. It also has excellent battery life, and the button and auto draw features work like a treat.
