The original Ursa pod mod was huge, so Lost Vape decided to come out with a new mini version. This version is an excellent vape for various reasons, not only because of the size but for lots of other reasons.

Lost Vape Ursa Mini Pod Kit Review

The Lost Vape Ursa Mini is a 30 watt pod mod with a powerful battery and compatibility with UB Lite Series coils. It has good build quality, and the device is small and portable, unlike its predecessor. It also has a well-made pod and excellent airflow.

Vapor and Flavor Production

Everything depends on the coil in the pod, but both are exceptionally good. The 0.4 ohm coil is for restricted direct lung hits, and it hits beautifully on 30 watts, producing excellent flavor and high amounts of clouds. It is a pretty warm vape, but not too warm.

The 1.0 ohm coil is one of the best mouth-to-lung coils out there. It works great on tight or loose airflow settings, and the flavor is phenomenally good.

Safety Features

Protections:

  • Short Circuit
  • Weak Battery
  • Overheating
  • 10 Second Overtime

Build and Design Quality

The vape is made from zinc alloy and stainless steel so that it will hold up pretty well. The airflow control is located on the side, and it is knurled so that it is easy to adjust. Most importantly, this device is much smaller than the original.

The original was a little too large, but this one is perfectly sized for people who want something portable and comfortable to hold.

The only cons here are the charging port located at the bottom. The problem is that you have to lay it on the side to charge it, which can scratch the body.

Battery Performance

The battery is another good thing about this vape. It is 1,200 mah, which is perfectly sized for a 30 watt device. Plus, it has type-c charging so that it will charge quickly after the battery is depleted.

Screen

This is a simple black and white screen, and it is easy to read in various light conditions. The wattage is displayed in the center, the battery life, resistance, puff counter, and timer are shown on either side of the wattage.

The Pod

The pod is pretty good, too, but it is bottom filled, and it is much better when the refilling slot is on the top or side. The original Ursa was top-filled, which was a huge plus. Other than that, the other specs for the pod are pretty good. It holds 3 ml of juice, and it is magnetically connected to the battery. It won’t accidentally fall off.

Compatible Liquids

It depends on the coil. The 0.4 ohm coil is good with liquids with higher vegetable glycerin content, but the 1.0 ohm coil is good with 50/50 liquids, making for a solid throat hit.

How Long Do the Lost Vape Ursa Mini Coils Last?

The coils should last a week or longer if they are correctly used. The best way to get the most life out of the coils is to prime them properly and give them plenty of time to soak in the liquid. Also, use the suitable liquids for each coil and use them on the correct settings.

Lower resistance coils handle higher wattage and VG liquids better, and high resistance coils are better for low wattage vaping with high PG liquids.

How to Use the Lost Vape Ursa Mini Starter Kit

This vape is easy to use.

  • The first thing to do is get the pod ready.
  • Take the coil and prime it by dropping two or three drops of liquid in it.
  • Let it soak up the liquid for a minute or so, and then push it into the bottom of the pod until it is completely seated.
  • After that, open the silicone plug at the bottom and fill the pod.
  • With that done, give the coil five to ten minutes to soak up the liquid and then put it on the battery.

Button Combinations

  • Five clicks to turn on and off
  • Pressing up and fire button locks the adjustment buttons
  • Press the down and fire button to reset the puff counter

Competing Devices

Lost Vape Ursa Mini vs. Lost Vape Ursa Quest Multi Kit

It is tough to compare these mods because they are for different types of vapers. The Ursa Quest is for people who want a vape with high output and lots of power modes. However, all of these features make the vape bigger.

Lost Vape Ursa Quest Multi Colors

People who want a smaller pod mod without all the features will prefer the Ursa Mini. Regardless of personal preferences, they are both good mods and are reasonably priced.

Lost Vape Ursa Mini Pod vs. VooPoo Vinci Air Kit

These devices provide excellent vaping experiences, but the Ursa Mini is a bit better. The Ursa Mini’s most significant advantage is that it has a more powerful battery.

VooPoo Vinci Air Colors

The VooPoo Vinci Air’s battery is only 900 mah, so do not expect it to last as long as the Ursa Mini, especially when using low resistance coils.

Also, while the VooPoo Vinci Air’s pod has a refilling slot on the side instead of the bottom, the silicone cover is very flimsy and prone to leaking.

The Negatives

  • Charge port on the bottom
  • Bottom filled pod

Final Thoughts About This New Creation from Lost Vape

There is almost nothing bad to say about this new Lost Vape pod mod. The only two problems are the fill port located on the bottom of the device and the location of the charge port.

Other than that, there are no problems. They did a good job making this pod mod more ergonomic and portable than the original Ursa, and it vapes great. Plus, it is available at a reasonable price.
