Everybody is talking about the new Aspire AVP and for good reason! The pod mod is skinny and lightweight, without sacrificing performance. For such a small pod mod, it has an impressive e-liquid capacity. Additionally, it has a battery life that impresses all of its users. It can last for several sessions in a row without needing to be recharged. All of these things make it the perfect vape for on-the-go use. It is even designed specifically to fit comfortably into pockets! To learn more about the 12W Aspire AVP pod mod, continue reading this review!

Unboxing the Aspire AVP

The Aspire AVP comes in a sleek and simple black box that protects the vape well during transport. The separate pieces in the package all have their own packaging that holds everything in place well. Nobody has to worry about opening their box to find broken parts! Once opened, vapers will find more than just their pod mod. With a purchase of the aio kit, users also get 2 refillable pods designed specifically for the unit. Additionally, they receive a micro USB charging cable, a lanyard that is great for carrying the vape, a warranty card, and a user manual. Though the Aspire AVP is easy to figure out and use, this user manual still comes in handy for vapers who like to exercise a bit of caution.

The Aspire AVP comes in a few different colors. Vapers who appreciate traditional, muted colors will like either the black or gray style. Vapers who are looking for a bit more color can find the mod in purple, orange, red, chrome, lime green, and a neat rainbow style. The rainbow shines several different colors in the light resembling the beauty of a puddle of gasoline.

The device is shaped a bit like a coffin in that it resembles that hexagon shape. The mouthpiece is see-through making for an interesting design feature. It is also tapered towards the top, so it is comfortable to suck on.

Aspire AVP’s Features

On the exterior of the pod is a power adjustment button. There is also an LED light that indicates the battery life of the unit. There is no button for vaporizing since this unit is, fortunately, draw activated. Draw activation protects the vaper from accidentally pressing the button when they don’t mean to. Another protective feature of this vape is its automatic cutoff, which keeps both vaper and vape safe. The Aspire AVP also has short-circuit protection, overcharge protection, and protection from overheating. The overcharge protection, in particular, is what keeps the battery life from being damaged over time. It is another one of the unit’s best features.

Another thing worth mentioning is that the unit has a bottom-fill system for its e-liquid. When vapers are done replenishing the 2 mL e-juice pod, they can stopper it with a silicone piece that prevents any juice from leaking out.

There are also magnetic pieces in the unit and pod that help the pods easily snap in and out. Filling pods will stay mess-free, easy, and efficient.

What’s Its Performance Like?

Inside the device is 1.2ohm coil resistance vaping capabilities. The 1.2ohm integrated resistance level will allow vapers to generate large clouds. It also makes the vaping experience more enjoyable. Also inside the unit is a nichrome heating element. Nichrome is efficient at heating e-liquid and will do a good job of vaporizing it without burning it. The vape’s zinc-aluminum alloy chassis will hold up well during vaporization.

One of the Aspire AVP’s best features is its integrated 700 mAh battery. This is a respectable battery for such a small pod mod. It will last for several consecutive sessions. When the battery runs out, it can be recharged, and the long battery life will be good as new. The device can reach a wattage output of up to 12 watts, starting from 8 watts. It has three different colors that indicate which wattage setting the mod is using. When its light is red, it is at 8 watts. When the light is blue, it is set to 12 watts. Lastly, when the light is green, it is using 14. It is typically recommended to vape somewhere between 8 and 12 watts for liquid. This is a good range for making clouds without affecting the taste of the e-juice.

Similar Pod Mod Kits on the Market

Smoking Vapor Mi-Pod

The Smoking Vapor Mi-Pod resembles a flask, and its appearance is definitely fun and interesting. It comes in too many colors to name, and can even be purchased with a suede exterior! It has a 950 mAh battery, though no overcharge protection.

It is voltage based instead of wattage based. Its e-juice capacity is the same as the Aspire AVP, but it is not covered by warranty, and it has a higher price.

Suorin Air AIO Pod Mod

The Suorin Air starter kit is another easily portable pod vape that comes at only a slightly higher price than the Aspire AVP. Unfortunately, this vape has a smaller battery at only 400 mAh. Its pods also hold up to 2 mL of e-juice, and its coils are the same 1.2 ohm.

The device is draw activated but is not covered under warranty. Essentially, this aio starter kit is less reliable and powerful for a higher price than the Aspire AVP.

Is the Aspire AVP Pod Mod Worth All the Buzz?

Ultimately, it is one of the best pod mod starter kits on the market at a reasonable price. The unit is a great vape for either beginners or experienced vape gods. There are lots of little perks that make this aio kit more fun than others, such as the included lanyard for carrying it, and its neat shape. The Aspire AVP’s NiChrome and ceramic pods allow the user to pick which one they prefer. Their 2 mL e-juice capacity is also generous. Light to medium vapers will not have to refill their unit in between every single session. When it does come time to refill, though, the bottom-refill method and magnetic snap-in features make it easy and mess-free to do so.

700mAh battery integrated into pod mod kit should not be overlooked. Its overcharge protection will keep the unit’s battery operating at tip-top shape for many vape sessions to come. Sessions can be counted on to produce large, tasty, and refreshing clouds. When it comes to the performance and looks of the Aspire AVP, it truly cannot be beaten.
