Metro E-Cigs Speed Review

We know not everybody has time to read our full reviews. So here is a quick category by category breakdown of the Metro E-Cig followed by a quick synopsis.

Nicotek Metro eCigs are one of the newest entries in the electronic cigarette industry. They aren’t one of the big names that have a lot of advertising muscle, but they are available in a lot of places, and they are priced quite nicely.

We’ve taken a closer look at what they have to offer to see if they are worth your money.

What Comes Inside the Kit?

The Starter kit will only cost you $19.99. If you have done some shopping around, then you probably know that this is the lowest starter kits will run for. With the base kit, you get the rechargeable battery, two flavor cartridges, a USB charger and a travel case. That’s all you need to get started, but we recommend adding a wall charger and some more cartridges onto your purchase if you plan to use it for very long.

If you decide to go with the Premium kit then you get all the stuff from the Starter kit as well as another battery, two more chargers (one for the wall and one for the car) and 8 more cartridges. The cartridges are a selection of two different tobacco flavors. Plus the carrying case is a bit nicer and larger to accommodate all the extra stuff. The Premium kit will cost you a very reasonable $49.99. In comparison, most premium kits from other companies cost around $70 or $80.

These are great prices; there’s no doubt about that. But do the contents hold up to scrutiny when compared to the other electronic cigarette manufacturers?

Metro E-Cigs – The Vaping Experience

metro cig

First off, the batteries are abysmal. They only last for about 80 puffs before giving out, and charging them takes an unreasonable 5 hours or so. If you use your e-cigarette regularly at all, then you are going to have to get some extra batteries to go with it to make it even a little practical.

The vapor production isn’t much better. It comes out nice and thick when you first start taking your puffs. But after a few minutes of puffing, the vapor dies off substantially, making it very difficult to get a decent vapor out.

Some Special Features

We really cannot recommend the Metro e-cigarette line to anyone. Even if you are just trying e-cigs out for the first time and you want something cheap, we would urge you to try just about anything else. Odds are that you aren’t going to be happy with your experience, and you will give up on the idea of e-cigarettes completely.

Pros:

  • Very low price

Cons:

  • Poor production values across the board
  • Vapor is unsatisfying
  • Battery life is short

There are plenty of better options out there, even if you are shopping on a budget. We can’t recommend Metro at this time, but if you’re curious then it won’t cost you much to find out for yourself.

Hi Kim, sorry to say, but Metro E-cigs and its parent company Nicotek are no longer in business, so their products are nowhere to be found. If you are interested in a disposable e-cig, take a look at our Best Disposable E-Cigs of 2020 list to find something you like: https://vapingdaily.com/best-electronic-cigarettes/disposable-e-cigs/.

Hi Kathy, I can’t say for sure in which brick and mortar stores these cartridges are available. But I found a few options to buy them online with delivery. Sent you on mail
