Smok Infinix — Pod Vape that Rocks
The pod has a diamond shaped-profile and uses a button-less design. Vapers need only install the pod, and start inhaling from the mouthpiece to activate the coil. The internal coil has a resistance of 1.4ohms.
Its battery output ranges between 10W and 16W. The tanks support e-liquids and nicotine salts.
The SMOK Infinix has a very simple and straightforward design. It consists of the battery, which has a pod bay at the top where users install their pods. The bay keeps the pod connected with a pressure fit.
The battery has a 250mAh capacity. It also features a small LED light in its center, which lights up whenever a user takes a vape. It also flashes when the device is charging.
There is a bottom USB port. Vapers can vape and charge the Infinix at the same time.
The outer chassis of the product is zinc alloy. The device has the shape of a diamond. It has no flat edges, but rounded sides.
The pods have a plastic mouthpiece and use a side-port, covered by a silicone grommet to fill the tank. A needle injection bottle comes with the kit for easy filling and refilling.
How to Use Smok Infinix
The Infinix uses USB charging. Vapers should use the included cable to charge their device before vaping. It takes under thirty minutes to completely recharge the battery.
Vapers can take advantage of the mod’s pass-through charging feature. The needle injection bottle should make it easy to fill the pods. They do fit close to 2mL of e-juice.
Loading the Infinix Pod
There is a tiny window where the pods meet the device that allows users to check their e-juice levels. Be careful not to let any e-juice touch the magnetic connections. E-juice may block the connection, resulting in the mod auto-firing.
Load the pod back into the bay. The battery is draw-activated, so begin vaping by inhaling from the plastic mouthpiece.
Vaping with the Infinix
The pods have coils with a resistance of 1.4ohms. SMOK designed them to be a mouth-to-lung hitter, which it is and does very well. There is no adjustable airflow on the pods, but the feature is not needed for the mod. The draw resistance is minimal. The cloud production is suitable even for an above-ohm coil.
Can you use regular vape juice in a Smok Infinix?
Nicotine salt-based e-liquids work well with the pods, but so do all kinds of e-juice, from high-VG to low-VG.
However, the throat hit depends on the e-juice, but also with low nicotine, 70/30 PG/VG content juice; the Infinix gave a good throat hit.
How long do Smok Infinix pods last?
The pod lasts for at least one-two weeks of continuous use, although it depends on how you vape. it is very impressive compared to others Smok devices.
The SMOK Infinix vs. the Phix vs. the TRAP Pod
The Phix
The Phix is a closed-pod system. Its cartridges come pre-filled and are not refillable. The wicks inside are ceramic, unlike the cotton wicks of the Infinix pods. The battery also has an all-ceramic build. There are different flavors available for the Phix. The Phix starter kit costs more than an Infinix kit.
The TRAP Pod
The TRAP pod system from Mig Vapor uses refillable 2mL pods. They are good for over five refills.
In addition, The TRAP can vape both e-liquids and oils, which Infinix does not feature. The TRAP is also draw-activated and starts at around the same price as the SMOK device.

The SMOK Infinix: To Infinix and Beyond
What do you think of the recent SMOK pod system devices? Are they worthy competition to all the other pod mods out there? Or are they only a pale imitation? Tell us what you think about SMOK Infinix by leaving a comment in the section below.
The SMOK Infinix works like any of the other pod systems out right now. It has reusable, refillable pods. The vapor production is decent, and it works well with all types of e-juice. It does not support oil concentrate vaping.
The device is well-built. There were no serious leaking issues. SMOK provides a much-needed needle injection bottle in the kit. Using a regular e-juice dropper would not suit the small fill holes of the pods. The battery is draw-activated, making this open pod system a very easy-to-use and convenient vape.

December 9, 2020 at 12:55 pmSmok Infinix has been discontinued due to charging issues plus zero warranty.
The upgrade Infinix 2 or the NFix do not accept the original pods, so don’t expect anything good from Smok.

December 28, 2020 at 7:08 amHi Kermit, thanks for writing in and sorry that the Infinix is no longer available, but SMOK does have a lot of offer if you’re into pods. The new Mico combines pods with a box mod control panel for excellent vapor production. But apart from that, there are many other models available. The choice is up to you, of course. Hope this helps. Take care and happy vaping!
